  1. Really like the Rick Steiner pick. Can be a great tag wrestler or a solid single.
  2. After just running special shows for several years, All Japan will be back up and running on a full time basis starting on Jan 1st. Besides the normal gaijin talent that comes in for tours, Baba will be looking for more foreigners who are willing to be a semi regular or regular for All Japan. Baba and his wife, Matoko, are willing to really open up the purse strings and pay big money for big named talents. Baba has had a rivalry with Antonio Inoki ever since they wrestled for JPW in the late 60's. with New Japan sort of influx currently, Baba feels like if they can grab a true stranglehold in Japan, that it could force Inoki to either sell or ask for a merger. Even before matches have officially begun, there was an announcement made that they had signed the following talent to full time deals. Black Cat ( been with New Japan since 1981) European wrestler David Taylor (father Eric held the British Heavy-Middleweight title for the 14 years 1953–67) Masaharu Funaki ( Been training in the New Japan Dojo since 1984) The Kelly Twins (Pat & Mike) Brothers who have won titles in a half dozen different territories Tatsutoshi Goto ( Been in the New Japan Dojo system since 1982) Baba also wants to establish a 225 lb & under Junior title. With 12 wrestlers on the roster that fits that description, it will be a good way to showcase some talent and give wrestlers a permanent spot on the card. There is a wrestler that is currently partaking in the New Japan Dojo system by the name of Keiichi Yamada that the company would love to get their hands on. He's not as highly thought of like other young boys like Masahiro Chono and Kenji Muto, but he's still considered to be a solid performer for someone with his experience.

  5. Hi, I've been trying to join this but I can't get anyone to respond.
  6. We plan on starting to run All Japan in January. Still working on a few things behind the scenes.
  7. I see that there's a fresh face draft coming up. As a Japanese promotion, am I allowed to participate in it? Much the same as the American promotions, that would take a US talent away to Japan full time. You have rights to all the fresh faces in Japan if you want to research who rookies were in 1985, but it wouldn't be right to have a Japanese promotion pick up US talent and keep them with that schedule. I can help you find some Japanese rookies/young lions for 1985 though. Can I raid some talent from NJPW? I think that is something we can discuss, but in our world, we would say that NJPW is continuing to run alongside of you as shown with our tour dates. I would say you could take some lower guys but no main event level guys. Try to keep it as close to real as possible. I sent you a list about NJPW.
  8. Ben Peacock.
  9. The Following Gaijins should be on a tour for AJPW IN 1985. Brazo De Oro , Brazo De Plata , Ben Bassarab , Curt Hennig , Davey Boy Smith , The Destroyer , Dick Slater , Dynamite Kid , Giant Haystacks , Jerry Lawler , Jesse Barr , Jimmy Valiant , Killer Kahn , Marty Jannetty , Miguel Perez Jr. , Nick Bockwinkel , Perro Aguayo , Ron Bass , Stan Hansen , Steve Regal , Ted Dibiase , Texas Red (Cousin Luke) , Tim Horner
  10. For those who want to send talent over for All Japan Tours, I will book them fairly if they are a lower mid-carder and they will get a decent push if they are mid/upper mid carder. Main event talent will get pushed very heavyily.

  13. Hi all, I'm going to be the new/first ? Booker of AJPW. I have experience on another board booking Georgia Championship Wrestling circa 1982. I would love to work out plans on bringing over and exchanging talent with all promoters. We are establishing ourselves currently as a freelancer promotion.
  14. Anything available? I book Georgia Championship Wrestling circa 1982 on a different site.
  15. Is there anything available? I book Georgia Championship Wrestling from 1982 on another site.
