As I wrote in my Saturday post, I plan to write a third interlude in the NJPW series about the young lions of the company's first three years. One part of it will require some extra time, though. I want to begin it with a profile of Kotetsu Yamamoto, and I have an article from the March 1979 issue of Monthly Pro that I think may have some useful details. My Monthly Pro scans are the most time-consuming to transcribe articles from because the low quality and heavy grain of the pages screws a lot with Kanjitomo, and I frequently have to zoom in and out on pages or even create copies with altered brightness and saturation just to get the OCR to work. (Whereas with a book or G Spirits article, all I really have to do is paste a few characters that I know Kanjitomo has trouble recognizing in that font to the bottom of my document. Even old Weekly Pro scans have been less of a hassle.)
