  1. I completely understand. Once you start creeping into 5 and 6 hour long shows, the dedication required is simply too much. Even if you have a 6 hour show full of 5 star matches, it'd still be a lot to handle - unfortunately though none of the WrestleManias that fit into that 5/6/7 hour long category can claim to be barn burners from the top to the bottom of the cards. WrestleMania 1 to 31 are shows that I would be happy to go back and watch, but I can't see myself ever going back and watching WrestleMania 32 onwards.
  2. Bumping this thread because I'm still eager to see reviews for WrestleMania 33 onwards!
  3. This has been a fantastic read thus far! When you see Lesnar's more recent matches listed, you realise he's actually been more active than most people give him credit for (admittedly it pales in comparison to the rest of the roster, but still). I've been re-watching old episodes of SmackDown from late 2002 recently on the Network and it's so obvious that Lesnar has all the potential in the world, a blind man could see it. Understandably the SmackDown Six get a lot of credit for the brand's success around this time, but Brock did more than his fair share to make the show as entertaining and must-see as it was back then. I agree that 2016 was a pretty poor year in Lesnar's career, however when it comes to that WrestleMania match with Ambrose, I'm sure Brock had his reasons for shooting down Ambrose's ideas; I like Dean/Mox, but I've found some of the stuff he's done in AEW to be ridiculous at times. Anyway, great job on the reviews man! I look forward to reading the rest of them when they're posted.
  4. I honestly can't bring myself to recommend Battlegrounds to be honest. You start out with about five or so wrestlers and have to unlock the rest by either grinding or resorting to microtransactions. In terms of gameplay, the move sets are unbelievably lacking to the point where there's only about two or three moves at best that separate one wrestler from the next - don't expect to be having any classic matches with this one. I've always preferred the simulation games over the arcadey ones, but the only reason I have this in my collection is due to the fact that I'm a schmuck for wrestling games. It's certainly no All-Stars.
  5. This thread has made me realise that a lot of the WrestleManias I thoroughly enjoyed at the time were actually pretty meh shows. The hype around WrestleMania and the notion that it's "the Granddaddy of them all!" certainly consumes me when watching live but there's only a select few I could go back to now and come away with the opinion that it still holds up well. When it comes to reviewing the more recent shows, I can't say that I envy you at all to be honest man; while there's some good stuff here and there, the thought alone of having to endure 20+ hours over four shows is enough to drive me insane.
