Markoff has HANDS DOWN the greatest weapon-hiding techniques I have ever seen in wrestling, EVER. I was tickled pink. A couple of them were so sneaky that I had to rewind a few times to see what he did. All his slight of hand business hiding it in his baggy trunks was fucking awesome. His bump when Inoki finally stole his weapon and popped him with it was tremendous. He just went down like he was shot, and then had the perfect dazed expression on his face. The bump over the rope, plowing through the young boy and on into the crowd was classic as well. Wonderful match. Eric

I could watch these kinds of matches all day. Constant action, tons of great stooging (thank you Arn), lots of great punches, Rick Rude doing the greatest atomic drop selling ever, everything ruled. Eric

I'm pretty late to the party on most of these since I didn't get in on the first DVD. I only got the first DVD a few days back, when DVD #2 arrived. So, I'll still give my thoughts even if most have already given them for me:) This was the first time I have ever seen this match, but it's been on my list of matches to see for years, so I was pretty excited. Bret's European uppercuts were sooooo nasty. I had to rewind a few times. Kid's spinning back kick in the corner looked really great. Caught Bret right under the chin the same way Bret's uppercuts caught Kid. Smart sell of Kid's insane-but-mostly-missed somersault plancha. I hate when moves are supposed to hit, and then don't, and guys sell them anyway. And, conversely, when a move is supposed to miss, doesn't, then they sell it anyway (Hello! Tanahashi/Kanemoto). Kid's was only a glancing blow, and Bret was smart to be the first on his feet. That was officially the only time I've ever seen the "Jump off the ropes into your waiting boot" spot look good. Bret went face first and looked amazing doing it. Great, fun match. Plenty of action, and it told a good story. Glad it lived up to expectations. Eric

I was hoping for more wrestling as well, but you can't complain about the top-notch production. This really needed a showdown between the Freebirds and all the punk rockers. Gordy shoving that fan and then mauling some guy in the corner had me flipping out. I had to rewind a couple times. I also loved Gordy's shirt that just said "Rock n Roll". A friend of mine has a t-shirt that says "Punk" in sparkly letters, and it has a manfactured rip in it. Good way to start the wrestling action. Eric

Jerry Lynn? Really? That's so....weird. I saw 4 or 5 matches of his from TNA last year and he looked absolutely horrible. Still stringing together the same move sequences he was doing 8 years ago, and generally looked really bad execution-wise (really loose, sloppy headlocks into rope running), with his stuff looking even more overly choreographed than usual... Is he super awesome on the indies or something? I mean, Finlay is also my personal favorite wrestler, which makes me hate Jerry Lynn's style even more. Just comparing the two workers' mat exchanges...it seems like one is an example of HOW to do things, while the other is an example of how NOT to do things... Really confused, Eric
