That's great news. Now all they need to do is get Monty Brown to resign and they'll be in good shape. I'm glad to see that guys aren't trying to jump to the WWF or anything like that. Losing Styles would've been the death of the company.

If Styles got re-signed, the only way I can figure is if he was specifically told he'd have a good reign as world champion. I can't see why he'd re-sign otherwise.

Likewise, I could only see Daniels re-signing if he was told he'd be moving onto bigger and better things.

Still congrats to TNA to getting it done.

Is Daniels still doing a lot of tours in Japan?

If not, that explains why he'd sign a long-term deal with a US company.

I thought when i saw the topic description that they had ''resigned'' as in quit.

It's pretty pointless signing till 08, there's no way TNA will still be around by then.

Never underestimate the ability of Jerry Jarrett to con a money mark into bankrolling Jeff's personal vehicle to make himself a star.

You know, I still can't fucking believe that there are actually people out there so goddamn blinded by awe, man love, or whatever the fuck it is that stops them from seeing what everyone else with a half a fucking brain worked out a long time ago, that TNA is a vehicle for Jeff Jarrett's ego to make himself a star. Jerry better keep finding fucking money marks to keep this shit going, because if the idiot is waiting for Jeff to catch fire and become a star he's gonna be waiting a long fucking time. The only way Jeff Jarrett could catch fire is if you dipped him in lighter fluid and lit a match. I wish to god someone would do that.

People were saying they'd last 2 months when they opened in 2002 and here we are 3 years later. The same people keep saying the same thing and they keep on going. It's really useless to talk about their death because no one's going to know until right before it happens.

Oh, "re-signed" not "resigned".

Opps, I guess I shouldn't make posts when I'm half asleep.

TNA are alive right now solely due to Panda Energy and Jerry Jarrett's ability to confuse the fuck out of them so bad they thought The Jeff Jarrett Show was worth investing in. Jerry was going to shut TNA down only three months after they started before he was able to con Panda into funding Jeff's ego vehicle. TNA are alive not because of anything positive they've done business wise, but because of the bullshit that Jerry Jarrett has been able to foist off on a bunch of money marks, and, invariably, money marks wake up.

Panda gets it's benefits from TNA though. They get various tax breaks from owning a division that loses money. So they don't lose as much money as you'd think from owning TNA, and it's entirely possible that they make money by flushing money on TNA. I doubt it but they've made a lot of that 20 million back come tax time.
