Guest Local Jobber R
Now I don't know if Galavision has been showing recent AAA shows or is still a few months behind schedule but the past few weeks of AAA has been entertaining....maybe because Konnan was there. Last week I was shocked and amazed that Nicho was working AAA shows against Psicosis in trios matches. From what I could understand it was last weeks show it was La Mafia Tijuana which was Nicho's team up against Psicosis, Hysteria, and Juvi. The match was average at best but the finish was great with Nicho taking the mask from Psicosis, putting it on and doing a cocky pin. Then a week later they had a ladder match with Nicho taking some sick bumps which would normally be considered DQ since it involved him taking attacks to the "mid-section". So, does anybody know anything about this feud from AAA? And whats the deal with Konnan in AAA is this a setup for the next TripleMania or what? Loss
I take it another wrestler has taken on Psicosis' old gimmick. Maybe that's ancient news, who knows, I'm sort of out of it as it relates to lucha. I wish I had answers to some of this, but I'm thinking maybe Tim or Kevin Cook will know. Guest Local Jobber R
I need the inside scoop from the Cooks. From what I understand Nicho is the orginal Psicosis and the one that appears in the US while the other one is the property of the promotion AAA. Tim Cooke
When Konan and Pena split in 1996, Psicosis went to WCW/Promo Azteca with Konan. Pena has the Psicosis gimmick trademarked and gave it to a local guy Leon Negro. Psicosis used the gimmick in the US because it wou dbe too hard and too much money for Pena to bring his lawsuit to the US. But that is not the case in Mexico. It didn't end up mattering as Psicosis (original) lost his mask in September of 1999.
