Okay, this is using the Filsinger Games Legends of Wrestling card game. So the winners of matches are determined by dice rolls. This promotion is a territory that runs Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. For the roster I'm using guys primarily from the 70s and 80s with guys from the 90s and 60s mixed in together. This is also a part of an NWA promotion I've run for over 3 years so you'll see NWA champions stop in here and there and footage from big matches from that promotion.

This is meant to be like an 80s style promotion. There will be a weekly television show and maybe quarterly big house shows. I'll try to cycle talent as best as I can.

I try to keep the results pretty condensed as best as I can. It usually takes me 3 or 4 shows to really get angles moving so just be warned. Also be warned, I just do this as a hobby and I don't keep many notes on my booking so I do forget angles at times.

Stay tuned, I have about 4 shows to post to get you caught up to where I am currently.

If Gilbert feels slighted then go out there and prove it in the ring.

the Ortons d. George South and Johnny Rodz w/ the Superplex

The Ortons stop for a ringside interview with Bob Caudle. Bob Orton Jr. says that they're waiting to see the seeding of that Midwest Tag Team Tournament. Those belts are as good as won. He is going to get a shot at the Midwest Heavyweight Championship and no one is going to stand in his way.

Tony Atlas d. Missing Link w/ the Press Slam and Splash

NWA United States Champion Blackjack Mulligan is out for an interview. He calls Midwest Championship Wrestling the place to be in the sport of professional wrestling. Midwest All-Star Wrestling #2: 12/28/2013

taped from Cleveland, OH

Bob Caudle and Rowdy Roddy Piper start off the show. They recap the show and the new Midwest Tag Team Champions the Ortons come out. Orton Jr. says that they backed up what they said on this program last week by winning the belts. But that's only half the battle. Orton Sr. chimes in and says that if any team wants a piece of them to just sign the contract. They'll defend these belts anytime, anywhere and against anyone.

Mike Graham d. Mister X w/ the Figure Four Leglock

Mike Graham stops in with Bob Caudle at ringside. Graham says that he's here to settle some old scores with the likes of Kevin Sullivan. He's also here to win some championship gold. He's won his first two matches and he's looking to win that Midwest Television Championship Tournamnet.

Masked Superstar d. Koko B. Ware w/ the Cobra Hold

Terry Gordy is at ringside with Bob Caudle. The referee cost him his shot at championship gold during the tournament last week. He wants to know why Eddie Gilbert, who wasn't even in the tournament is getting the first crack at Tommy Rich and that belt. Eddie Gilbert walks onto the set. He says that Terry Gordy already had his shot at the belt and blew it. He was snubbed out of the tournament. Gilbert says he's not going to let anyone and that includes Gordy, interfere with his quest for gold. Gilbert poked Gordy in the chest during the whole interview and things looked to be getting violent when Doug Gilbert blindsided Gordy with a chair to the back of the head. Eddie takes the chair from Doug and gives Gordy a shot for good measure.

the Heavenly Bodies d. 2 Cold Scorpio and Buff Bagwell w/ a sunset flip

Highlights of the Blackjack Mulligan and Bruiser Brody match replay from Starcade. They brawl all around the ring and both men are a bloody mess. Mulligan finally grabs a folding chair and lays out Brody and his manager Sir. Oliver Humperdink.

Rowdy Roddy Piper joins Bob Caudle after the clip is finished playing. He's bringing the big matches to Midwest Championship Wrestling. He's signed the rematch of Blackjack Mulligan and Bruiser Brody for the NWA United States Championship. It's going to take place at the big January 13th show that will be taking place in Columbus, OH. And it's going to be inside of a steel cage to settle their differences once and for all.

Pepper Gomez d. the Grappler by DQ

The referee called for the disqualification when Jim Cornette hit Gomez with the Tennis Racket. The Grappler pounded Gomez on the mat with a series of big fists. Jim Cornette raises teh Grappler's arm in victory and then stops by with Bob Caudle at ringside. Cornette calls the Grappler a master ring technician and that he's easily the best solo act in Midwest Championship Wrestling. However many belts they decide to introduce into the promotion, he'll win them all.

Main Event:

Tommy Rich and Tony Atlas d. Doug and Eddie Gilbert w/ the Sleeper

Rich locked on the Sleeper after Gordy blasted Eddie Gilbert in the head with a pair of brass knuckles. Gordy hits the ring after the match and gives Gilbert a Power Bomb for good measure. Gordy points at Tommy Rich and tells him that he's taking that championship belt.

This link is an opening video I created for MWCW. It's only 32 seconds.

Midwest All-Star Wrestling #3: 01/04/2014

taped from Cleveland, OH

Bob Caudle and Rowdy Roddy Piper start off the show. Piper announces that Tommy Rich will defend the Midwest Heavyweight Championship against Eddie Gilbert on the big January 13th card. The Ortons will also be putting the Midwest Tag Team Championship on the line against the Armstrongs. This card will be taking place in Columbus, OH and you'd be crazy not to miss it.

Bob Caudle takes over and announces that the Midwest Television Title Tournament will be starting on tonight's show with Mike Graham taking on Bob Roop. The tournament will be playing out over the next few weeks on television. Here are the brackets of the tournament:

Mike Graham vs. Bob Roop

Marty Jannetty vs. Missing Link

2 Cold Scorpio vs. Chris Candido

The Grappler vs. Koko B. Ware

Terry Gordy d. George South w/ the Powerbomb

Terry Gordy hits George South with a second Powerbomb and stops in with Bob Caudle. He's not mad at Eddie Gilbert getting the first crack at Tommy Rich. He just has to be patient and his time will come. He knows that Tommy Rich and Eddie Gilbert don't stand a chance against him. The Midwest Heavyweight Championship will be around his waist sooner or later.

the Armstrongs d. PG-13 w/ the Sleeper

Bob and Brad Armstrong stop with Bob Caudle for an interview. Bob says that he's happy to be getting a title shot in Columbus, OH. He thinks a lot of the fans and experts have been overlooking the Armstrongs in this tag team division. He thinks a lot of people are going to be shocked when they walk out of Columbus as the new Midwest Tag Team Champions.

Tony Atlas d. Doug Gilbert w/ a vertical suplex

Eddie Gilbert attacks after the match. He lays into Atlas with forearms and punches. He goes for an irish whip but Atlas runs over him with a big clothesline. Atlas tells Eddie to get up so he can hit him again. Doug Gilbert hits Atlas from behind with a folding chair and then hits him a second time. Eddie recovers and they start putting the boots to Atlas. Midwest Heavyweight Champion Tommy Rich hit the ring and the Gilberts bail to the outside.

Kevin Sullivan and Dan Spivey d. the New Zealand Sheepherders w/ a big boot to face

Jim Cornette and the Grappler are out for an interview. Cornette says that drawing Koko B. Ware is like getting a freebie in the first round of the TV Title tournament. There's no one in that tournament that has a hope of beating the Grappler.

Main Event:

Midwest Television Title Tournament:

Bob Roop d. Mike Graham by DQ

Kevin Sullivan and Dan Spivey got involved in the match and Mike Graham grabbed a chair and starting swinging everything that moved. The referee called for the DQ as a result. The numbers are just too much for Graham and Sullivan, Spivey and Roop put the boots to him. Sullivan puts him in the Tree of Woe and chokes him while Spivey and Roop continue to put the boots to him as the show fades to black.

Midwest All-Star Wrestling #4: 01/11/2014

taped from Cleveland, OH

Bob Caudle and Rowdy Roddy Piper start the show off. They hype the big January 13th show in Columbus, OH. Tommy Rich will defend the Midwest title against Eddie Gilbert, Blackjack Mulligan puts the U.S. Title on the line against Bruiser Brody in a cage and the Ortons defend the Midwest tag titles against the Armstrongs. Plus a lot more action.

Bruiser Brody and Sir Oliver Humperdink come out after the announcements. Humperdink calls Brody the most dangerous man in the NWA today. Back in October, he sent Blackjack Mulligan to the hospital after a piledriver on the concrete floor. And at Starcade, he was beating Mulligan so bad that Mulligan got disqualified so that he could escape that match. Now, he's going to be inside of the steel cage with Brody. There will be no escape. These two men are going to battle it out until one man stands the victor. He doesn't think Mulligan is deranged or mean enough to do what has to be done to get Brody's shoulders on that mat for a three count.

Eddie Gilbert d. George South w/ the Hot Shot

Eddie Gilbert stops in with Bob Caudle after his match. He can't wait for Monday night to roll around in Columbus, OH. It's going to be Tommy Rich and him for the Midwest Heavyweight Championship. He calls Tommy Rich one of the best in the world but that's not going to be good enough. Eddie Gilbert says that he's an elite talent in pro wrestling. That's why on Monday night, he's going to be wearing that Midwest Heavyweight Championship belt around his waist.

Masked Superstar d. P.N. News w/ the Spinning Neckbreaker

Midwest Tag Team Champions the Ortons come out for an interview with Bob Caudle. Bob Orton Jr. says that they aren't too worried about Monday night. He calls the Armstrongs a world class team that just isn't a championship level team. He calls them the Chicago Bears of pro wrestling. Bob Orton Sr. takes over on the mic. He's looked over the landscape of tag teams in Midwest and he's found them all wanting. He expects that they'll be holding these belts for a really long time. The Armstrongs are the first stop in a long road ahead.

PG-13 d. Killer Bees w/ a running lariat

2 Cold Scorpio comes out for an interview with Bob Caudle. He reminds the fans that he'll be taking on Chris Candido in the Midwest Television Title Tournament next week. He tells them to tune in because he is the most exciting wrestler in the world of wrestling today. He promises that no one will regret watching next week's main event.

Dan Spivey d. Tony Atlas w/ the Powerbomb

Dan Spivey hit the Powerbomb after Kevin Sullivan distracted Atlas from the outside. After the match, they put the boots to Atlas until Mike Graham runs in with a chair to make the save. Graham challenges Sullivan and Spivey to take Atlas and him on in Columbus on Monday.

Main Event:

Midwest Television Title Tournament:

Marty Jannetty d. Missing Link w/ a back elbow ram

Bob Roop attacks after the match. He blindsides Jannetty with a clothesline and then starts pummeling him with forearms and elbows in the ropes. Roop goes for an irish whip but Jannetty ducks a clothesline and catches him with a dropkick. Roop bounces to his feet and Jannetty catches him with a hip toss. Roop bails out of the ring and hits the apron and kicks the ring steps in frustration. Caudle reminds everyone that Roop and Jannetty will be meeting in the semi-finals of the TV Title tournament in 3 weeks as the show fades to black.
