This was during the Roman is going to break away from The Shield by April phase of WWE booking. CM Punk beat the other two members and now it is Reigns turn to show them how he is heads and shoulders above his fellow Shield members. Punk and Reigns try for an epic match with the slow transition between moves (especially in the final stretch). Punk throws everything at Reigns and cannot put him down but some interference from the Shield give Reigns the opprotunity to hit the spear for the win. Punk did what he could to help the elevation of Reigns putting him over strong in a good match on a big RAW. ***1/2
