BigBadMick
Was Dusty the only wrestler in 1985-93 whose past accomplishments were acknowledged by WWF? And how was this done? They were mentioned on the last Titans podcast - I've never seem them. Something about Dusty being recognised by fans and winking to the camera??? GSR
Do you mean you've never seen those 1989 vignettes? There's a few of them up on Youtube. The main one who sticks out as having their past accomplishments acknowledged by WWF would be Flair.
PhilTLL
They didn't really reference his accomplishments as a wrestler, just his notoriety. The vignettes ended with a freeze frame on Dusty, the American Dream logo would appear, and the other person in the spot would VO "Hey, aren't you...?" It wasn't like acknowledging Flair as a world champion. One other thing like that I can remember is referring to Savage as "wrestling's hottest free agent" in 1985. ButchReedMark
Also, you can not beat his prices, and you sure can't beat his meat!
Moonsault Marvin
I loved those vignettes as a kid. "Doo doo is good for me and doo doo is good for you."
