Loss Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 One more -- what are your favorite EVOLVE matches?
JRGoldman Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 The obvious ones are the Callihan/Finlay matches, and the Hero/Hidaka match from Evolve 2 was pretty good. I haven't seen much of it, but I have heard the Busick/Thatcher/Gulak stuff that is good everywhere is also good in Evolve.
BillThompson Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Of their recent run I'd definitely suggest all of these, EVOLVE Wrestling: 34 (09-13-2014) Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Timothy Thatcher EVOLVE Wrestling: 33 (08-10-2104) Biff Busick vs. Drew Gulak EVOLVE Wrestling: 31 (08-08-2014) Timothy Thatcher vs. Drew Gulak World Wrestling Network: A Wrestling Odyssey (04-04-2014) Timothy Thatcher vs. Drew Gulak World Wrestling Network: Mercury Rising ’15 (03-28-2015) Timothy Thatcher vs. Chris Hero EVOLVE Wrestling: 38 (03-08-2015) Drew Gulak vs. Chris Hero EVOLVE Wrestling: 37 (01-10-2015) Timothy Thatcher vs. Roderick Strong EVOLVE Wrestling: 40 (03-27-2015) Chris Hero vs. Biff Busick EVOLVE Wrestling: 40 (03-27-2015) Tommy End vs. Timothy Thatcher (The WWN shows aren't under the EVOLVE banner, but for all intents and purposes they could be considered EVOLVE shows).
jpchicago23 Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 There's a good Danielson vs Fish match when Danielson was on summer vacation. Does this mean no love for PWG Loss?
Loss Posted June 19, 2015 Author Report Posted June 19, 2015 There's still more threads to come. Quite a few, in fact.
KrisZ Posted June 20, 2015 Report Posted June 20, 2015 EVOLVE has had some great matches lately with Thatcher, Busick, Perkins, Mike Bailey, Trevor Lee....you can't go wrong with their shows work wise.
jpchicago23 Posted June 20, 2015 Report Posted June 20, 2015 Oh sorry, I took one more as in the last one. Good to see
clintthecrippler Posted June 20, 2015 Report Posted June 20, 2015 Jon Moxley vs Homicide from EVOLVE 6 is a pretty tight match, but the post-match is one of the damndest and most memorable spectacles I've seen in any fed in the last five years, and was the moment that I knew I would religiously follow Moxley wherever he went and as he headed into WWE and transitioned into Dean Ambrose. Watching this match is kind of like watching Randy Savage matches and promos from Memphis and realizing how fully formed he was by the time he made it to WWE.
