JaymeFuture
This week Hulk Hogan faces the charge of causing irreparable harm to the wrestling business, as the prosecution and defence go to war, talking Hogan's negative impact on the WWF with his Arsenio Hall appearance, his role in bringing down WCW from its apex, and impact on the course of TNA's life. The panel debates steroids, sex, politics, burials, money and incompetence, and take your witness statements to determine whether or not Hogan is guilty. The fifth of the SCG Trials and a really fun show, check it out and let us know what you think of the verdict! http://squaredcirclegazette.podbean.com/mf/web/u2z4xr/SCGRadio54-TheTrialOfHulkHogan.mp3
JerryvonKramer
I think this was the best if the trial shows that you guys have done. Case for the prosecution was really strong, even though I was on defence's side. Structure of the whole thing was very well done. Excellent job. JaymeFuture
Thanks very much dude. It was actually the most fun trial to do so far as well I think. It's weird, being on the prosecution, I thought we crushed them when we recorded it, but listening to it back it's pretty even...
SomethingSavage
Agreed on most of Parv's points above. This was my favorite of the Trial series by far, as I just feel more invested and engaged with Hulk as the subject here. I was definitely siding with the defense going in, and I still stand my ground there - but the cases presented and the arguments from both panels were REALLY thought-provoking and incredibly convincing. You guys have blazed through a lot of the usual suspects - the Faces of Death from WCW, the extreme influences of Heyman's booking philosophy, Hunter in the Fed - so I'm eager to see what names you pick up for the Trial series when you start reaching outside the box a bit. So far, it's been a tremendous exercise in examining these guys from all sides.
Lust Hogan
Great show! Loved the format!! I can't find any episodes on iTunes beyond episode 35. I want to hear more Trial shows.
JaymeFuture
http://www.squaredcirclegazette.com has our entire back catalogue. Very glad that both you and SS enjoyed it :-)Yeah, we're tinkering around with some kind of "Small Claims Court" episode to discuss a handful of individual political incidents to debate right and wrong and bring some non-typical types to the format...
