Bret Hart signs with WCW in 1996

- WCW has the best roster on the planet

- WCW has far bigger stars than WWF

- Stone Cold Steve Austin doesn't get going with Hart

- No screwjob, no Mr McMahon, no endless debates.

- DX doesn't get the white heat they got.

 

- No Bret heel turn, no great 1997 run, no WM13 classic.

- Assumingly, Bret would have shown up as a face in WCW. Or would he have joined the nWo in the fall of 96?

 

It's all very Sliding Doors, but I can't help but feel the wrestlign world would be a very different place right now, had Bret have made the jump in 1996... What do you think the immediate landscape would have been like, and what would have come of it?

97 the WWF would had been in big trouble, since international and Canada were heavily relied on for touring and Bret was the top draw there.
