Cox
On the Steve Corino/AWA title news mentioned in the Zero One section, Corino defended the AWA tag team titles, teaming with Ricky Landell, in UWC in December 2006, so this appears to be something that went on for a while. The same show saw Colby Corino, as a 9 year old boy, defeat Don Montoya in the main event, so it was a big show for the Corino family! GSR
Mike Kyle was the guy who bit Wes Sims during their fight. Not the only time Kyle has been involved in controversy in the cage.
BrianB
I didn't buy the Predators Blu-Ray. It's not as good as the original film in the series, but I'd put it a surprisingly solid #2. You wouldn't think Adrien Brody could pull off the lead role of the macho commando, but he's very good in the role. The rest of the cast and the craftsmanship is solid too. The movie's concept is simple enough----various people of different backgrounds, most snatched up from combat, suddenly dropped into the jungle--and they add some layers to it as the movie goes along. I'd recommend it to fans of the series or traditional action movie fans. MMA pioneer Oleg Taktarov has a part in the movie too.
GSR
Something I forgot to mention when I wrote that bit about Sims; Ryan Reeves was actually cut at one point from his developmental deal before being later resigned. I can't remember when exactly he was cut, but he wasn't under contract for the full duration of when he first signed until when he left earlier this year.
