[2000-05-31-AAA] Sangre Chicana vs Cibernetico (Cage)

Hey, here is the overbooked AAA that I know and don’t love. This faction war stuff is one step removed from the 1997 Gang Warz IMO and the stuff with Charly Manson having the blowtorch and entering the cage did nothing for me. I feel bad for Sangre because I do think him mixed in with Pierroth, Ano and Perro in CMLL could be fun. *3/4

This is more of a fire show than a wrestling match. So many people at ring side between the Vatos locos and the Vipers. After a while, Ciber and Sangre disappear and the seconds get in the cage and battle it out with fire. Even Kane would say that's too much. Can't really rate this as nothing happens in the match. Another gang shows up and this becomes a mess. Most people will hate it but I find the chaos entertaining.

This was a little hard to even follow but a fun diversion if you're looking for some over-the-top wrestling nonsense. The fire stuff is at least pretty well done and they achieve a palpable sense of chaos/danger in the post-match. It's just not much of a match.
