soup23
Maybe it takes Kobashi on commentary for Go to go out there and deliver a great performance but he was awesome here looking every bit up to the challenge to go mano y mano with Okabayashi with his mentor looking on. The interview after the match with his chest a full shade of red and purple shows how stiff the match overall was. This had a great dynamic of the old guard and new guard with them going after each other as well as mixing in the young guns into the proceedings. Takuya Nomura is now in his 2nd year and still progressing to where he should be one of the mainstays in the main event seen probably relatively sooner than later. The match progressed from the forearm and chop exchanges to the big slams and power moves. Overall, a tremendous, beefy display. ****1/
Richeyedwards
There was a woman in the front row opposite hard cam that was giggiling with glee at every strike thrown durring this match, that was me when watching this match. As expected it was a very beefy stiff match with some macho posturing between the two main event guys in the match and between the two rookies. it also had as expected the two veterns beating the tar out of the young guys with chops. All 4 had nasty welts post match with shiozakis chest being a complete mess thanks to the now customary chop battle on a fortune dream show. It was big stiff and full of nasty moments with the two young guys getting to have some time hanging with the big boys before Go put kiyomiya away with the burnning lariat infront of his mentor. a really good match to continue a show of good matches. ***3/
