Pretty intense while it lasted. Garbage-y but hard fought. I'm not a huge fan of KAORU but she elicits a lot of hate from her opponent which is a good thing. The finish led to the return of Lady Zero later in the show.

This was a good brawl that didn’t overstay its welcome. The pace was kept up and the seconds were able to chip in without completing derailing the match. KAORU is an interesting worker for the year in that she had some stuff that didn’t hit but also a near MOTY in the match vs Aja. Overall, a match like this helps her case as this didn’t set out to be an epic match but yet was satisfying in its own way. ***1/4 (6.7)
