ohtani's jacket
Another good match. What's gotten into Monterrey? It was the week before Christmas and the workers felt in a giving mood I suppose. Zumbido and Tarzan Boy were excellent again and Dandy continued his strong run of form. What was Dandy wearing? It looked like he borrowed someone else's outfit for the night or dug something up from the back of his closet from 1985. Parka and Porky being on the same side threatened to be an overdose of comedy but the rudos made it work. The match made me so happy I even enjoyed the sandwich spot and Porky's awesome bomb to finish it. Feliz Navidad. If Tarzan Boy didn't turn full rudo by turning on Parka at the end then I don't know what else he has to do. Throw someone's mother under a bus? soup23
This certainly has to be almost the full fledged rudo turn for TB. He goes after La Parka and they have a ton of interaction against each other even as tag partners. Shocker like always is the straw that stirs the drink. Overall, this was a very very good trios match. Dandy had some swank new gear and each of the opening sequences brought about unique pairings and fresh matchups for the year. The way Porky’s comedy spots were spliced in felt organic and added to the variety feel of the match. One of the most fun lucha matches for the year and it felt like we got some good storyline development as well with the TB turn. ***3/4 (7.7)
