Such a lovely time, this match was. One of my favorite things about it was seeing how much of a blast everyone involved was having - Ibushi seemed the most excited he's been in a while about a match, the crowd was loving every moment & even the cameramen were smiling from ear to ear. Fantastic mix of genuinely amusing comedy & serious storytelling w/ Yano giving Ibushi real trouble w/ his new found motivation in displaying his amateur wrestling skills + his classic shenanigans. ****

Yano's run has been a terrific surprise and a big reason why the B block shows have been bangers. This might be my favorite match of the tournament from a pure pleasure standpoint -- just a perfect blend of exciting wrestling and nonsense with a satisfying finish.

Yano is great, and Ibushi doing a standing moonsault with his hands tied struck me as a genuinely incredible feat of athleticism. This match was a blast!

This was fantastic. Yano creates such believable nearfalls that there are no wasted seconds in any of his matches. It's so rare to find a match where legitimately any pin attempt or fall attempt could actually end the match. It's a brilliant and unique atmosphere.
