An interesting piece in wrestling history, Dr X ( The Destroyer) being the heel and Verne Gagne controlling him. I think it's the first instance of an american wrestler protecting his gimmick in Japan.

It is a fine match. Only goes about five minutes before Dr. X gets himself disqualified for dropkicking the referee as a way to escape Verne Gagne's famed sleeper hold. It's a bit of a lull. **
