sek69
So I'm guessing Rush was noticing what was really moving tickets per the WO update: Rush took to Facebook Saturday to announce he and his father, Bestia del Ring, have quit Mexico's AAA promotion for a second time and are now "totally independent." He and LA Park were scheduled to take on Sam Adonis and Psycho Clown at July's Triplemania in Tijuana where the losing team would wrestle against each other in a mask vs. hair match at August's Triplemania in Mexico City. Mexican wrestling expert and writer Luchablog noted on Twitter that while the main event of AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo vs. Kenny Omega is big for those outside of Mexico, "that tag match (and the possibility of Park/Rush) was the big ticket seller." Mr JMML
Good for him, I think he will thrive in the mexican independent scene.
sek69
So in the days since this happened, AAA has not mentioned anything about the Triplemania match. Either they think it's just typical Rush drama that with blow over, or they're just not going to tell anyone the top ticket selling match isn't going to happen. Considering this is AAA, both options are equally possible.
