You had two really good workers squaring off against each other with one of them having the potential to be a generational maineventer, and instead of having a short, intense bout, we get a bunch of bullshit with run-ins and continuing storylines. CMLL has flirted with American style booking throughout the early 00s, but they can never seem to commit to it, and as a result, their attempts at booking their TV like this week’s RAW come across as half-arsed and ham fisted.
