Grimmas
Control21: Yusuke Fuke started his career towards the end of UWF Newborn’s run in 1990. He then made the jump to Fujiwara’s PWFG promotion for a brief time and then was a founding member of Pancrase. After his Pancrase days, he has worked for a variety of Japanese indie promotions with occasional stops at bigger names like AJPW, NOAH, and BJW along the way. He has had a relatively interesting career and his longevity might make him someone worth considering. w/Hitamaru Sasaki vs Minoru Suzuki & Takanori Ito (4/16/2022) vs Hikaru Sato (2/12/2022) vs GENTARO (3/12/2009) vs Yoshiaki Fujiwara (2/24/1992)
Jetlag
Oh hell no. He has some good matches but he's so often very lazy and lame, dragging down matches even though he clearly has the skill to do better. A travesty considering how much he was wrestled compared to other guys who almost never make tape.
Ma Stump Puller
I compared Fuke to Eric Roberts a good bit back and honestly I haven't been proven wrong since. He's a guy who COULD have fairly good matches with his solid technical fundamentals and experience, decent strikes.....but he'd rather just check in and check out than put any tangible effort into his performances. Getting something good out of him is more a testament to the person wrestling him than it is to the actual guy. I respect his longevity but fact is that he's really done a whole lot of nothing for a good long while.
