I always hated having to feel somewhat ashamed of what my favorite past time was because people thought it was fake, or below them somehow. So you just felt like you had to hide it, or only share it with your other wrestling friends. At least back in the late 80's/early 90's when I was in school. (and please don't think that comment is me trying to make it about me. I know I grew up a somewhat privileged white boy, and don't have a clue about the struggle of those kids. I was just simply saying it would have been cool to have a wrestling club!)
Control21 Posted February 2 Report Posted February 2 This is a great article. It is great that these kids have an outlet for their creativity, passion, and desire for connectivity. I think this is proof positive that pro wrestling can be a vehicle for all three.
