For a much lighter read I would recommend a new graphic novel called Wrestle Heist. I am reading it now. Here’s the premise: “After being crippled by a shady wrestling promoter, a former pro wrestler gathers a team of others wronged in the ring to rob the promoter blind during the biggest wrestling event of the year!” Written by a true wrestling fan. It’s a lot of fun thus far.

RIP. I got to see Dennis team with Bobby live against Ron Garvin and Barry Windham in the main event of a show I went to growing up. He, as well as Bobby and Jim Cornette, got NUCLEAR heat!! They had Barry in the “Face in Peril” role and they cheated one too many times. I saw the audience shift from dislike to hatred and you could even hear it audibly. They had to quickly go to a DQ win for Barry/Ron and The Midnights had to SPRINT to the locker room! It was one of the most amazing moments that I have ever seen. Dennis was great in his role. He made you hate him but you were also afraid to punch him. He was as tough as they come.

I seem to remember eons ago a wonderful recap of the Bruno Sammartino vs. Larry Zbyszko feud. Does anyone have a link for that or access to it?

I must have missed the “Jey Uso drinks” stuff. I didn’t know that…

I need to see these clips! 😂 Does Jey USO even CARE anymore?? He gets demoted to team with his brother and now he shows up drunk to work? I saw Cena take off his stuff and leave, but I didn’t see any of the other stuff.

Yeah, I never understood that. Did he ever explain his politics as it relates to Jesse Helms? Did Caudle believe the same things? I wasn’t aware of the Helms connection until fairly recently.

Bob Caudill was easily one of my favorite announcers of all time. So smooth and he got the stories over without being a distraction. He was always credible and also seemed like a genuinely nice person. RIP Bob Caudle

I still wonder what the live audience will think of him when he comes out. I could easily see him booed out of the building. I thought that the last few times his name was mentioned he got massively booed? And that was BEFORE MAGAmania…..
