sek69
With all the releases lately, requested or otherwise, how do you think that plus the upcoming draft will change things on WWE TV? A lot of the openings now are background/role player types that can let a guy fresh from OVW work the green off without being expected to carry a big storyline. It really isn't fair now how they pull guys from OVW, give them a completely new (and usually lame) gimmick and expect them to be over right out of the box. In fact, it's what they did with the Rock, after Third Generation Blue Chipper Rocky went over like a lead balloon he was put in a stable that allowed him to gradually work on his skills until he ended up overshadowing the entire group. Guest Hunter's Torn Quad
With all the releases lately, requested or otherwise, how do you think that plus the upcoming draft will change things on WWE TV? It won't. It'll still be the same stale shit, but with a new shiny wrapping. It may seem cynical, but it's the truth. The problems with WWE won't be solved by shuffling the roster around, and bringing in a few new faces. It makes for a nice diversion, but it doesn't tackle the real problems. goodhelmet
HTQ's right. Until they make the decision to make someone besides Hunter the face of WWe, it wont mean anything. Ultimately, that is what has to happen. Casual fans and us hardcores will have to get the feeling that someone else represents WWe like Rock and Austin during its peak.... or even Hogan from Rock N Wrestling. Now compare those icons to HHH. You see the problem.
Guest Bruiser Chong
Remember how optimistic everyone was before last year's draft? A slate of third-string wrestlers and NON-wrestlers moving around later killed that quickly.
sek69
It's almost to the point where they have to do a more thorough roster shuffling due to all the newly-emptied roster spots.
