Like... I think they understand he's popular and that's about the end of it. Taking away the Boys is the kind of tone deaf booking that we saw from Cornette a few years ago. I don't think any of the fans wanted to see that. Dalton should be tearing his way up the card and winning the TV Title instead of being bogged down in the quicksand with guys like Cedric Alexander and Silas Young. He's never going to get above mid-card in RoH and the WWE is going to eventually sign him and turn him into a star.

It kind of feels like they don't know what they have with Dalton Castle.

I'm still hammering out a lot of the details but I did get the first two shows recorded. The first two episodes are just a chat with a friend of mine who was a wrestler on the Kentucky indy scene. These two episodes are really just him bullshitting with me directing traffic a little bit here and there. You guys might find it interesting, you might not but I wanted to put it out there. https://soundcloud.com/pit-podcast-134632092/episode-1-shads-wrestling-career-part-1 I'm in the process of getting it onto iTunes. Let me know what you think.

I think the only interest in Rollins is wanting to see Brock beat his ass and win the belt back. I think if you take that hope away that there isn't a ton to latch onto with him.

But why would you give the fans what they want to see when you can run a Rollins/HHH program that no one wants to see?

It's hard to tell at this point. I think Rollins could easily still be the WWE Champion by the time the Rumble rolls in. As far as who should win it? No one on the roster right now has the kind of momentum that says they should be in consideration for winning the Rumble.

Jay Lethal is really starting to wear thin on me.

I'll keep an eye out and leave you guys a review when it hits.

The mental image of Killer Kyle carrying an 18 inch dildo around in his case got a laugh out of me. You sirs, have a fan.

Are you using a headset or an actual mic? Invest in a pop filter if you haven't already.

The best stuff with the Rejects was in 2006 and 2007.

The comic book industry is a lot like that now. They've learned how to gouge the market with higher prices and alternate covers for books but the market continues to shrink. An issue of a mid level title sold about 50-60k issues a decade ago and a mid level book is like 35-45k these days.

Washing by pouring water over his head (and then drying himself off on Dutch's poncho) and cleaning his teeth by swigging on some beer! Yes! It was some of the best character work I've ever seen.

And how could I forget the Dirty White Boy living in a school bus in a junkyard!

My two favorite parts of early SMW was Rip doing squats for an entire show and that awful video where Tim Horner sang.

I'm not calling it a classic or anything but there's a pretty enjoyable Bull Nakano vs. Monster Ripper match on Youtube.

I think Chikara kind of has the right idea with their VOD. Buy the whole event for one price or just grab a single match for $1.99. It's a very Itunes approach that I think some bigger companies should try out.

Sweet.

Yes. I just don't see the double standard there. With the Baron, it's a shitty worker wrestling probably an equally shitty worker trying to kill time in some meaningless opening bout of a WWWF arena show. With Lawler you're talking about a main event or semi main event match between better workers. I would imagine in these situations that Lawler would add a layer of charisma and flavor to the spot that the Baron would not be.

Let me ask you though. Take Backlund doing the exact same thing as Ted Dibiase. Would you be more inclined to say it sucked when Backlund did it because you don't have the buy in with him?
-
That seems like perfectly fine logic. If someone sucks they probably suck at doing that spot where someone is good it's probably good. That's like shitting on Iron Mike Sharpe for having a shitty dropkick but praising Ricky Morton for having an awesome one.

But Johnny Sorrow would be there and I can hardly imagine the shenanigans that would follow. My guess is a night out with Sorrow can only end inside of a jail cell.

This post would get a like if the feature worked.
