  1. Ricky Steamboat I too do not see the massive appeal in Matt Hardy. He was a decent wrestler who had a few good matches. Steamboat was a good face for a number of years, and I think would be remembered more fondly if WWE had more than two PPVs a year during his run.
  2. Rick Rude
  3. Jeff Jarrett Had a good heel run, while Backlund really just had a good month or two.
  4. Chris Jericho
  5. Ultimate Warrior
  6. Andre the Giant Tough call, but Andre's a legend, while Dynamite had some flashes, but a career threatening injury cut off his career as a great wrestler.
  7. Patterson is well beyond the candidate phase. He IS in the WWE Hall, and the Wrestling Observer Hall. One question. The comedy match likely has its place in wrestling. In what situation is it apropriate? What were the better comedy matches in wrestling history?
  8. Mr. Perfect
  9. Steve Austin
  10. Rob Van Dam
  11. Kurt Angle Good worker, albeit overrated. Tremendous microphone skills.
  12. Kane Time to ruffle some feathers. Kane is a good, good worker for a big man. People forget that Kane has been in WWE for a decade now, between Kane, Fake Diesel, and Issac Yankem. Ric Flair had a great year in 1992, but he had his best years in other promotions.
  13. Razor Ramon Another one of the more memorable characters. A good worker honestly during his first WWE run from 1992-96.
  14. Randy Savage One of the most visable wrestlers in WWE history, quite honestly. Roberts fucked up his chances.
  15. Owne Hart Goldust was a tremendous character, but Own wrestled continuously for WWE from 1992 to 1999. Goldust had a great year in 1996, but then fell into that TAFKA Goldust crap, and never really recovered.

    Raw rating

It sounds to me like he misused the language to try and get his point across. The way I read it was that fans know what they want to watch, but sometimes do not have a grasp on the business aspect.

  18. Diesel Played a critical role in the mid-90s, good or bad. Ax's best work came as the masked superstar, before 1985.
  19. Christian For reasons mentioned above.
  20. Chris Benoit Tito makes a good opening match job-man, and Benoit is THE man.
  21. The Undertaker Some of these are laughably one sided. If we're going to use a Guerrero, why not Hector? That way, we can wax poetic about the contributions of the Goobledygooker.
  22. Hulk Hogan
  23. Yokozuna
