Court Bauer always sounds like he knows his shit in his interviews with Alvarez but MLW was one of the biggest clusterfuck independents of all time. For the amount of shows they ran they may have actually had a higher cancelled show rate than IWA Mid-South.

I don't remember him saying they refused him rehab. He did a long delusional interview with Mike Johnson 2-3 months ago about it. He said in December he was having bad withdrawal from some pain pills he was taking and couldn't sleep for days. So he asked if he could go to rehab to get his sleeping pattern back. When he got out of rehab Shawn Michaels told him they were never going to bring him back to the roster and a few weeks later he was fired. He also blamed his whole addiction to pills on a match he had in 2007 where he got hurt by a reckless wrestler and blamed WWE for putting him in the position to have a match with that person. The match in question was a 3-way with London/Kendrick and Holly/Rhodes. I guess it could have been Holly being a prick or London/Kendrick being fucked up.

I don't think Dave thinks it is a shoot but because of the 1% chance it is he's covering his ass so people won't say he got worked. And because the story is breaking all kinds of traffic records for Dave and Bryan they're going back and forth on it every night to drive up interest.
