"People that would absolutely know are insisting that Shawn Michaels will wrestle at WM this year!"

There has to be a weird ego thing involved with their stubbornness on Batista vs Orton. Batista & Orton are HHH & Vince's hand picked guys and they are just never going to accept that people would rather see a short independent wrestler over them in the title match at WM. Plus you have the whole deal where HHH in his mind probably believes he made Batista and Orton top guys (in Batista's case he did, in Orton's case he did serious damage to his career in 2004 and 2009) and it's some kind of ego trip to have them in the title match at WrestleMania 30. They control their own history and years from now when they do the next ridiculous Triple H documentary or his Hall of Fame induction they'll be talking about how Batista and Orton were HHH's proteges at WM20 and then they headlined WM30. Dave brought up a good point today that they ended WCW because of one night of bad crowd reactions and this is over a month of bad crowd reactions and they won't budge.

  15. It was meant as a joke...he told people to DM him their questions for Punk but you can't DM someone unless they follow you.
  16. Dave said Extreme Rules was originally booked somewhere else and they changed it to Seattle because they have huge plans post-WM for Bryan. He made it sound on one of the WOR shows like he got it direct from someone in WWE. One of the "well plans changed" items that happens with Dave and Bryan all the time.
  17. We could also get something where Reigns does his face turn by costing HHH the match intentionally during a Shield run-in, so this way all of the focus is on Reigns and not Bryan winning. After this week though I really think we may be headed for Bryan vs Kane at WM though. Extreme Rules in NJ instead of Seattle is also bad news all around, as the NY/NJ fans are the ones who will cheer the "stars" like Batista and HHH.
  18. Jamie Noble was the agent for the RR match, and they didn't have the guys in the ring putting it together until 6PM last night so he is getting blamed. KENTA is at the performance center right now for a tryout. Prince Devitt contract offer is still on the table and he has to make a decision soon. Still negotiating with Sting, a decision has to be made in the next 2 weeks apparently.
  19. Listening now.. Yes, Vince McMahon, HHH are aware and acknowledged it happened. Was not given the impression it will change WM lineup. Batista didn't come cheap and they have to get their money out of him so he's staying a face and headlining WM.
  20. Last nights Dave & Bryan show was fascinating... How can you say people don't pay money to see Bryan when an entire sold out crowd at their number 2 PPV of the year PAID to see him win and wouldn't accept anything else? Last month at MSG the advertising for the next house show had Bryan on it. Tickets went on sale during intermission. Last week they took him off MSG and put him on the Salt Lake City show with Orton. So if MSG does a big house, who gets the credit? This stuff happens all the time. People rarely even know who they are going to see at house shows because the talent scheduled changes every week. The Jeff Hardy thing is a good argument but it's 6 years later. Money in the Bank with Punk, Rock's return at Survivor Series both bombed. The shows are going to do the same number give or take a small bump no matter what because the price is outrageous and the shows aren't good enough to justify it. Also, Hardy wasn't put down as a loser anywhere close to Bryan has been. The one thing they did to Hardy was when he beat HHH in the #1 contender's match it was a fluke and HHH got up and laughed at him. But it ended there. The music video they did for Hardy the Monday before the Rumble was one of the best they've ever done. Bryan bringing up Orton was the perfect answer to every point Dave made. Orton isn't responsible for moving anything in terms of ratings, buys or merchandise that anyone can ever recall. But he is a chosen one, like the last 3 in the Rumble last night (Batista, Sheamus, Reigns) and the crowd threw up on them. I've said this a hundred times this entire thing would have been avoided if they gave Bryan the belt for 2 months after SummerSlam. Orton could have won in October and it wouldn't mess up their plans. But they were set on trolling the internet for heel heat. Stephanie who is a HEEL doing the stupid chant for Batista on Monday with the big grin on her face just to troll people and then they are going to act like they didn't expect Batista to be booed out of the building last night. And what difference does it make if Batista is in the title match at Mania or a big attraction match? He'd do the same ratings either way. Sell the same merchandise. The problem is he's a mark for himself and they had to promise him another title run to come back.
  21. Arguably the single most embarrassing night in terms of a show in the history of WWE. Everyone backstage involved with putting it together should hang themselves because anyone with half a brain saw this coming.
  22. Listening to Dave and Bryan live on WOR right now and Dave confirmed those 5 matches are set for WM and they have been the matches planned all along. Dave is also saying he spoke to people in WWE this week about Bryan and despite the crowd reactions - he doesn't move ratings, merchandise or tickets.
  23. As if they needed any help to win Worst Promotion for an 8th straight year, Mike Johnson is reporting today that many people inside the company believe Russo is back.
  24. Mike Johnson said today the WM lineup is "set in stone" as: Orton vs Batista (World title) HHH vs Punk Undertaker vs Lesnar Cena vs Wyatt Bryan vs Sheamus
