  1. Wife and kid are gone, drinking beer on a Wednesday, too lazy too edit. Here are my notes from the match: Its one thing to have kawada kick the shit out of you with padded boots, its another thing to have STAN HANSEN kick the shit out of you with fucking cowboy wrestling boots Fucking brutal so far Killer dropkick by hansen holy shit dive by hansen when do you ever see a man that size, or anyone, dive through the lower middle rope hansen eyes toward ref were great fuck yeah lariat off the kick out of the ring, wow finish is fucking tits Sums it up well
  2. We get a good comparison of how Hogan and Flair returned within the week on the set. Flair wins easily.
  3. Holy shit that kids mask ruled! Great run to the ring to get started. The messed up leapfrog was great because Eaton came right back with the knee attack that looked sweet. I'm sure it was called before, but what a nice recovery. If it wasn't a called spot before, Eaton is da man. Good match, then some interference, we get a brawl and some chaos.
  4. Loved the church or street gang part, Tracy Smothers rules.
  5. They need a tough enough film session on how to do a promo and watch this. Really into the match before the interference, beat down, save, and brawl. Fun stuff
  6. You know if it wasn't Brutus Beefcake the story of a wrestler's downfall, injury, comeback, and redemption on a "Multi"-Millionaire is a simple story to get behind. But Brutus is just the goofy Hulkster sidekick, so whatever. I also love how Hogan sells that he just thought up the name Mega Maniacs on the spot, that's what we'll be brother.
  7. I like how Sags walks right past Shawn out of the ring instead of helping his teammate, Tanaka reverses and gets the pin anyway. Nothing much here, but decent action for a few minutes.
  8. Weird listening Hogan talk about the tabloids in 93 and watching how his personal life unraveled on reality tv and in the media in recent years. If I were a young Hogan fan I would of have been psyched after this interview.
  9. Vader is what a world champion should look like. Brutal stuff with a great struggle. Loved Sting's spinning back chop and kick to the face. Vader's ear getting ripped up was painful looking. I like the tease finish with Sting tripping over the ref (does Nick Patrick get paid for a non-sanctioned match?), and the finish was well done. Easily WCW #1 so far.
  10. Not much of the match, awkward finish. More on here for the end with Flair, Windham, and the NWA belt.
  11. "Holds up well" was my thought also. This matchup never gets old and I really liked the post-match Pritchard and Eaton argument/pull apart.
  12. Solid stuff, with a great finishing sequence. It's Benoit-Too Cold in 93, what is not too like?
  13. Nothing that will get on any 93 year end lists good or bad, but a nice way to spend 25 minutes instead of doing lesson plans or laundry.
  14. Great cast of lumberjacks, super showcase for Pillman/Steambaot. Really good stuff to get pumped for Superbrawl.
  15. Great idea for an interview, No Fear T-Shirt! fuck yeah 93. Hey another Up Close segment making the title seem as the most important thing in the world.
  16. Feb 93 is all about making a mess on the floor in SMW and USWA. Average match but fun continuation of the three-way tag feud.
  17. End of Smothers v. Nightstalker match. Dirty White Boy runs down with a garbage can and uses scissors to shred the Confederate Flag. Nightstalker Adam Bomb with the powerbomb for the win. DWB handcuffs Traci in the ring while Nightstalker holds door to the lockerroom so no one can help. DWB sets the flag on fire in the middle of the ring and beats down Smothers before Rock-n-Roll and others make the save and put out the fire. Effective segment.
  18. Sit down interview with Vince. A recap of the sailing accident, parents death, and divorce......man poor Brutus. There are two reasons for Brutus being here: God and Da Hulkster. Brutus says they are his " Sword and Shield". Beefcake states that IRS and DiBiase can't handle the tag team of God+Hulk. You know God is taking the fall for that team. Vince really sells this as the comeback story of the year.
  19. Epic battle. It would of been easy to book Hash in the match, but the stare down, tease of getting in the ring was great. I need a Tenyru/Hash showdown and Chosu/Tenyru rematch after watching this.
  20. Eh, didn't do much for me, the top rope reverse suplex thing was near death for Bat.
  21. Not really sure how the blood(?) got there as I didn't see any from Beefcake, but the briefcase shot was nice.
  22. I liked this better then the first matchup. Rey getting destroyed is always fun. The dive sequence and finishing run were really great. Winners has to be Charlie Sheen's favorite Luchador and his dive at the end (front flip over rotation and splat on his face on the guardrail) was painful.
  23. This was fun for something different up to this point in the set, but I have a feeling the best is yet to come from UWFi.
