What did I miss? JBL was kissing up McMahon's commentary and Lawler for some reason asked how would you compare JR to Vince in commentary and said that Vince spoke English and it was like comparing ice cream to horse manure. Eventually Cole had to tell them to calm down. Not a huge deal just haven't heard one in a while

Gee what did Jim Ross say this weekend to get that reaction or just the usual crap.
-
Seth Rollins is wrestling like his job is on the line. That was an amazing 4 minutes of chaos there by him
-
Yeah it is basically root for the Ring of Honor guy night as there is no reason to boo Big E Langston.
-
Holy shit did Brock throw a TV monitor over the other side of the ring Apparently that monitor did hit a fan. That is going to be a problem.
-
I was loving this promo by Heyman but trying to somehow connect Punk and Taker was beyond a reach Bryan vs Batista could be a disaster for many reasons. Never mind that Batista can't work more than 10 minutes without sweating a river but unless they decided to finally connect Triple H with Batista it is going to make no sense to have him job

I may be wrong but from what I remember of that week, the actual footage of the leg break didn't air on the PPV, it aired on the night after, on WCW Monday Nitro. I thought the leg break was shown on the live broadcast because I know I have seen the break before but it was removed from the DVD (or in WCW case the VHS ) it wasn't on the Classics version of the show

For those that wonder, there is nothing edited or cut in the Benoit title win at WM 20. Not even sure if they edited anything before the match. They even show the celebration with Eddie in the ring which is such an incredible mind fuck to figure out how to feel. Man I didn't know that the Starcade 86 show was almost 4 hours long. I guess when you run basically two full shows it is going to be that long
-
They must have this labelled wrong - this is probably the 12/29 show with Hogan/Flair and Bret/DiBiase Funny because when they showed it on Classics a couple times they did the same thing. Would think someone could have gotten it right
-
When I see the Ascension, I think of Kronik. A team that was really cool and fun to watch in WCW that was insanely exposed as an awful team when they went to the WWE. I have a feeling that is going to happen with them. Although I think Viktor is a much better worker than people give him credit

I find it really funny that Roku has an updated/upgraded version of the WWE Network. Haven't been able to test its effectiveness but man wish they would have thought of this 2 or 3 hours ago.
-
I agree but there is a old saying about making a good first impression. Since this is the only live show until Wrestlemania with any significant viewership, there isn't much to let people know that the problems were getting better. You just have to assume it got better
-
Yeah the WWE really blew it tonight. You can't use the "well it was only the Roku or the Xbox" excuse either because pretty much everyone get screwed. It wasn't working on phones or PC that well either. At least not mine and probably a lot of people. Shame as well because even without the main event that was a great show. Lots of people are going to become fans of NXT after tonight.
-
With Roku it seems that if you play or fast forward, it takes a while for the video to get into 1080p. Not sure if that applies to all devicies.
-
Trying to think has their been a WWE divas match that has built as well as this NXT divas title match with Paige vs Emma with the promos and the interviews with Tensai and Natalya
-
They are now showing the WWE Inbox segments from their you tube channel. Seen the Big E and Xaiver Woods one The Mountie segment where basically he finds the US based on where his horse's ass is was funny
-
Has to be something new in there right? Not really as probably 90% of the stuff from MSG around 1984-1989 has been on Classics on Demand at one point. Now if they decide to put some of those house shows after 1997 on the Network then complete Huh didn't know Scott Taylor/Scotty Too Hotty was doing jobs on RAW in 1993
-
Two things I did on Roku that I have no idea if it really changed anything but all of the sudden I got ECW stuff 1. On the WWE network account parental controls, switch between on and off and then save 2. On your Roku account page, set your PIN preferences to "don't need a PIN to make a purchase".
-
Check your parental controls. Could be blocking out anything TV-14 or higher. Where do you update your parental controls on your Roku box (I have Roku 2 by the way). The only thing i see is the 'Choose your PIN preferences" part of the My Account. I wonder if you have to have the 'A PIN is not required' button for this network?
-
I mentioned this on the DVDR message board but someone tweeted that he thinks there might be an issue with how the age restriction setting is done. I wonder if people can access the on-demand stuff with rating TV PG which I would think meets whatever age restriction that might be set.
-
So how are they going to do a Smackdown pre and post show for a taped show? I will assume it is all just backstage stuff?
-
At this rate he is auctioning for the WWE Network's version of Lou Holtz
-
Not sure who is telling Lana is show more skin on those promos but I give that man props. Yeah this crowd is complete shits. I mean even Bryan had to force the crowd to react when he first came out. So we get two matches where their partner causes the wrestler to get disqualified "by accident". That seems like pretty lazy booking.
-
So I assume that Cena is doing an injury angle and not really hurt. That was a pretty bad way that Rowan put him down to the mat.
-
From the sounds of it, the elimination chamber won't be up for a couple months so nope.
