  1. I know this is considred lazy but can you pin the thread that contains all of the podcast links
  2. Not sure if I should put it here or somewhere else but I would recommend going to one of JR's one man shows if you can. I went to the one in New Orleans at the House of Blues that included Jim Cornette. I wanted to go to the 6:30 showing on thursday night so I can spend most of the night on Bourbon St but it looks like I screwed that up because while the Cornette show was really good I heard that 8:30 show with Steve Austin was a lot better. Lots of great stories of his time starting in the business. Luckily most of it early in his career and not his WCW and WWE stuff for me. Maybe these are really old stories but the highlights would be: 1. Having to wash the back of the McGuire twins 2. The whole Dick Murdoch dating a tranny and then punching her/him in the face story 3. The time Leroy McQuirk was planning to murder Ted Dibase for banging his daughter and how luckily it went terribly wrong for Ross and Leroy
  3. Not only do i think the Miz wasn't familiar with his Ring of Honor stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if half the locker room in 2010 was the same way. I can't really picture guys like Shemaus and Cena and Big Show were big ROH marks. Only a small handful of the FCW guys were indy guys at the time. They probably knew of his reputation though but I doubt they were watching 30+ minute matches against Samoa Joe or Colt Cabana or Morisihima The only thing that worries me watching this is that he may end up like Eddie Guerrero. All he wanted to do was become a heavyweight champion and then he won it and got miserable to the point he was almost begging to give the belt to JBL. At least I believe that is the story. He love the business in the ring but that is about it. I don't mean in a arrogant way I mean he doesn't think it is him.

Holy shit putting Cesaro with Heyman is genius. Who the hell wouldn't want to see Lesnar and Cesaro tag

I can't think of a RAW where so many developmental talents debut on the same night. You have Bo, Adam Rose, and Paige. Russev and Lana as well assuming you don't consider the Royal Rumble. Great to see her debut but unfortunately that was far from her character in NXT like mentioned before. I guess she isn't going to be an Anti-Diva in the WWE.

So the WWE has an new analyst debuting on the RAW pre-show. Former Charger linebacker Shawn Merriman. I heard that he was going to work for the WWE but didn't know as an announcer
  7. No that will be in about a month when Punk finds a really hot girl on the indies and starts banging her while AJ is on the road. I have a hard time believing that Punk is a settling down kind of guy.

It didn't help that you had all this "media" who is trying to be serious and then all of the fans way in the bank who are actually interested in the being there. also doesn't help that this is in New York of all places. Why should people in NY give a fuck about this years Wrestlemania.
  9. Was surprised how good the Iron Sheik documentary looked. I was expecting some Eric Simms/Rob Feinstein crap where it is just Sheik getting drunk and high doing embarrassing stuff that makes him look terrible while everyone else made money
  10. Remember this is a guy who does 2 or 3 hours Q&A shows around 3 or 5 in the morning so 120 hours doesn't seem to unrealistic. Crazy but not unrealistic
  11. All these podcasts and animated gifs and photos on these boards and we still can't get that 80's set that was going to contain Continental footage. COME ON PLEASE

She carried the segment in the sense that she just owned the crowd. Those YES and CM PUNK and Daniel Bryan didn't mean shit to her and deliver a great line telling fans that it doesn't matter because he isn't showing up tonight

I guess there was a Wyatt vs Shield post show match right now judging from the entrance music on backstage pass

speaking of merchandise, I am glad that they finally decided to sell a Golddust mask. You would have thought that would be a no brainer Never could figure out how Taker does this with the empty casket gimmick that all of the sudden contains Taker. Lesnar with another insane bump landing head first on the casket and didn't phase him one bit.

Yeah the way things are going it is going to make the Shield breakup hard to take for fans. Hopefully they can hold it off until next WM and have the breakup match there.

Given that they are inducting "Paul Bearer" and not William Moody (hope I got that right) tells you how they will induct people so "Razor Ramon" doesn't bother me. Love that Dean Ambrose is using the Nigel Lariat as one of his moves. I know ROH fans really hated that move in the end but I thought it was awesome to watch
  17. Anyone that think Big E is bland hasn't seen his instagram account as well. If they don't give him promo time there isn't much he can do in the WWE. And real promo time not that stuff on the app that maybe 5% of the people watching RAW sees
  18. Well apparently one of the writers are in trouble with the "Stooge" comment that JBL just made
  19. After watching the Hall of Fame commercial I realized what a moron I am. I just realized that New Orleans was in the Central Time Zone
  20. There was an ECW Hardcore TV show from the end of 1997 that showed highlights of FMW include a clip of a barbed wire exploding cage match and the explosion. Can't remember if it was the same clips though They are starting to get the ordering of ECW shows straightened out. There is at least 10 1994 ECW TV shows in a row. The true test will be the end of 1994 - first 3 months of 1995 because those didn't get shown on Classics. They mentioned that there was issues and the tapes couldn't be processed but this was also when Benoit murder happened so I can't imagine they want to show those TV shows.

Man 30 years ago Bryan would have covered in blood. Still a vicious beatdown. I expect this isn't going to the last Okay I have no idea why Steph was swinging a cross in Bryan's face but added to his sickness in the angle.

Okay I have to think the chance of Triple H beating Bryan went from 3% to about 1.5% with that news. No freaking way you would book a evolution 3 way main event for Mania and expect more than a quarter of the crowd out the door.

I think JR is more comfortable with talking about his time in WWE because he has become more successful outside the company. He used to only have his web site and BBQ sauce as his source but now he has podcasts, a job with Fox Sports in some way, and one man shows as well. It doesn't seem like he needs the WWE as much as needed him in the past.

Does Superstars count because that is the only time I have seen both of them

I am going to assume that Bryan gets the crap beat out of him and mostly loses for the next 3 weeks which I have no issue with as long as they go with the plan that 98% of the people think should happen I have a feeling this is going to have a Benoit WM 20 feel. Even though the sheets were saying that Chris would win the title for months, the closer it got the more you were nervous about it given how we was booked with triple H and HBK. Which made the tap so rewarding and emotional when it did happen.
