By the way since the Revival is a Smackdown team and not in this match, should we assume that their WWE career is over? Or is one of them hurt? I know it is massive overkill in the Hell in a Cell match but surprised that we haven't seen a spot where the chair link cage breaks HOLY SHIT LINCE DORADO. I think Kalisto tried doing that 2 or 3 years ago and failed miserably. AND THEY LOSE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SPOT

I do find it funny that Heavy Machinery has to get into the pod sideways in order to fit. As a fat guy I can relate And that was not the start you want to see from Lucha House Party. No idea what Metallik was doing there. And then LInce almost kills himself trying to grab the cage Great recovery though

This may be offensive but has Andrade been in a feud in the last 8 months not involving a Mexican. All I remember is matches against Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, and Humberto Carrillo. Granted they are really good matches and I ASSUME that we finally get a blow off feud with Mysterio but seriously let's expand his stock a little. Even doing the Aliestar Black feud again would be good
-
You would think that would make a star in Gulak after the match. But chances we won't see him for another 4 - 6 months except getting the shit beat out of him by a Braun
-
. OH SHIT BRYAN IS DEAD it makes it worse that it really looked like Bryan got a stinger on the Saito Suplex. I am guessing it was great selling but man
-
He was a good heel in hindsight but when he was in the main event of Capitol Punishment against Cena the crowd didn't really care. When him and Miz was stuck in the feud with Punk/Triple H/Kevin Nash they were a huge afterthought
-
seriously I have never seen a PPV pre show with so many RAW and Smackdown recaps
-
Show is starting with Bryan vs Gulak. If Styles vs Black was the next match I could go to bed early It is amazing that Sami Zayn is now being treated in the role of "former wrestler who now manages and stinks in the ring" guy. He was so incredible 2 or 3 years ago now you would think he is Johnny Valiant or Mr Fuji out there

It is a sign that the tag team title match isn't that important that it deserves to be a main event. Especially since nobody from the main matches is on this PPV Speaking of tag title elimination chamber, that Miz/Morrison promo on the pre show was straight up 80's coked up wrestlers. Not sure if they have been doing that or not but pretty funny

The only revisionist history of Brock's Ruthless Aggression that cracked me was the idea that in 2002 Summerslam Brock was getting cheers because he was becoming extremely popular with the fans. while he was getting popular, the main reason why the crowd booed the hell out of Rock is because they knew he was leaving for I think Scorpion King. so the finish was a given. Rock was really one of the original WWE "You sold out" guy that the fans turned on The Story of FCW documentary that is supposed to "premiere" tonight is up if live to go to the live schedule part. So damn good. Tells all of the good and bad of the company. The part about Dusty's promo classes are must see in my opinion

A choir version of Jericho's entrance? This needs to be double juice. Bring out the weapons for this one

If ever there was a case of changing the booking on the fly, that match would have been it. PAC losing wouldn't have hurt him and Orange winning would have blown the roof off the place Still a damn good match. Anybody that doesn't think Orange is a worthy wrestler is a moron who probably tags Cornette all day
-
Given how little Orange has done in AEW wrestling wise he is still just as over as when he started Meanwhile JR doesn't give two shits about this match and is showing it
-
Seriously was there an ugly tattoo contest this weekend that nobody told us. Between that and Jack Gallagher attempt of looking like Brock it has been something

Literally the only chance of saving the Fiend character is for Bray to beat Cena at WM this year. The ultimate revenge for Cena beating him in his first WM match that started the trend of him being the big match loser that he is now Chances that Cena comes back to lose to Bray Wyatt are slim to none so this will be the death of not only his character but the wrestler
-
He didn't get Kofi'd because at least he got to last for 90 seconds. Kofi barely made it out of 10 unfortunately You mock but I guarantee you that is Roman's first title defenses after WM. Again with Bray it was a question on whether he gets buried on this show or he gets buried at WM for like the 4th time. Might as well get it out of the way. you can recreate him 10 more ways he career was pretty much done after that shit fest in Orlando against Randy Orton with the ring showing the video of maggots and stuff. If you can't beat Orton that glass ceiling is made out of concrete

I don't know about the hate that Cena got. Maybe some jealously and yes I do remember a large number of wrestlers thinking the spinner belt was stupid as hell. But I can totally believe the idea of Cena on the cut list around December 2002. He made his debut in late June and the Halloween party stuff that brought out the Word Life Cena. He had a great debut and then really didn't do anything except for an average PPV match against Jericho I believe. Other than that he was pretty much a Velocity or house show guy with a really bland look. I also buy the idea that they "discovered" Cena while looking to see what the progress what of Rico Constantino. In hindsight it is hard to believe but in 2001 there was very high expectations for Rico as a heel.

Might as well turn Elias again by the time of Wrestlemania. People who complain about the Miz being the worst babyface (before Morrison showed up) hasn't really seen Elias as one

WWE TV 02/17 - 02/23 Giannis should just deck Nick Nurse
hammerva replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Could have easily done what Tyson Kidd did around 2014 I think. I mean he will have a job for life in the WWE. Especially with the friends he has. No need to waste it being another Shawn Spears in AEW -
So in terms of all time legendary revisionist history bullshit by the WWE, is there anything better than the claim in the 1st episode of the Ruthless Aggression show that they changed the name of the company to the WWE because they need a boost in the product. I mean you would thought "Get the F Out" was like when they brought in the Attitude Era or The New Generation. If you like the Monday Night Wars series they did probably 7 or 8 years ago then it seems like you should like this series about the WWE after the War.

I mean I guess Cole is going to face Balor. Or heaven forbid it turns into a 3 way match with Cole vs Gargano vs Ciampa
-
Next year the build to Wrestlemania will be Candice turning on both of them and she wins a 3 way match. Maybe Ciampa's wife can start training and that is 2 years from now
-
I also love the idea that a belt shot is the ONLY THING that causes these two guys to sell. I mean they could have shot each other in the chest and sold it for about a minute
-
Oh fuck are going for another Ciampa vs Gargano feud
-
Even Johnny Gargano is backstage asking for these guys to sell the moves a little bit. But we can complain about this style all we want but the crowd is going crazy for it
