Larry does the delayed three count to try give Luger more time to kick out. But since Lex didn’t kick out it makes him look worse getting pinned. Larry wants to see replay. Instant replay does not belong in wrestling. Match is restarted and Luger gets the rack on for submission. Bischoff and NWO beat up Larry after with Eric getting the pinfall. No storming down by officials to break up any of this.

Oh my. Randy Anderson completely no sold a Flair chop to the chest. A whole brigade of referees stormed the ring. That wasn’t warranted.

Savage has “Snap Into It” on the back of his jacket. Elizabeth even has a few words for DDP. Randy pays more bills by mentioning Slim Jim.

Hogan trying to get out of the match with Piper as he doesn’t want Sting around. Bischoff has a message for the corporate chumps at Turner.

Just awesome. As flawless as you can get with the execution of the high risk moves. The springboard/back flip into DDT was so fluid. They just weren’t the same in 05 when trying to hit that one. The senton flip to the outside into a headscissors was amazing. Just a match when both guys are competing at their best. The finish has become so oversued but at least they had a much better set up to it. Fantastic match.

So ECW follows WCW in having the title change on free TV to sell folks on the rematch at PPV.

Francine is showing off everything in that dress. The fans are not endeared to Rude. Rude lets the fans do their chants. Well done Francine to tell those fans to screw off. Douglas is thinking he is getting Michaels as an opponent but nope, it’s Bigelow! Sunny has spent more time on ECW TV than WWF TV.

I really like the fight Houston put up just trying to get in as many punches as he can to defend himself. He even had the advantage until the reckless moonsault attempt at the end.

The heels were so involved throughout the match that I got a good laugh of them getting screwed in the end when where were stuck holding the table near the turnbuckle while Jaguar gets the win off a reversal.

These aren’t the light bulbs I think of when it comes to wrestling matches as not the long tube versions. They have them lit up too with the building lights turned off. I don’t think I’ve seen a barbed wire match where action mostly takes place in middle of the ring. Barbed wire and light bulbs and neither gimmick is used much at all. Poor match.

I wonder if because Misawa’s offense is delivered more to the upper body that they didn’t bother going after Kobashi’s leg. The corner charge from each guy with the Lariat versus the Elbow is a big bravado moment. Don’t remember January clearly as so much has happened over the course of this year. This is excellent though and maybe just a bit below January version. Nice to see AJPW deliver a strong match again as I haven’t seen too many great ones that we were accustomed to seeing previously.

I figure this is under AJPW wrestling rules so I don’t get why Takayama just backs off after hitting a knee that knocks down Kawada. Should be going in for the kill at that point. Lots of Kawada rolling out of the ring after getting hit by a strike. Way too much Takayama on the mat for my tastes. Kawada was getting barely any offense in until the last minute.

Ace counters the chokeslam into the Ace Crusher! Looked as good as the Taker/Orton version. Really good effort by both guys and agreed better than I expected going in.

Bischoff’s comment about Vince having no will to win is so off. Piper and DDP end up being dressed up as fake stings. The cage drops and mayhem happens with some of the NWO including Bischoff are locked inside of cage. Show goes off the air too quickly to see any extended brawling.

Good video show great high flying action from Rey. They discuss mask versus belt against Guerrero. There was a clip of Eddie unmasking Mysterio in a match against Malenko. View was able to Rey’s face.

Really nice reversal sequence between the two with Eddy getting the advantage. Surprised with the quickness of the finish as Guerrero wins clean with the frog splash. Hot match but it left me wanting more.

NWO B team has been left laid out backstage complete with black chalk lines. Camera follows Bischoff and Hogan to the ring. They have proof that Piper and Sting were behind attack. Piper tshirt and black baseball bat left at the scene. Maybe another set up by DX. TV cameras show a cage up in the ceiling above the ring.

Outside of Canada this might be Owen’s first face match since he turned on Bret at Royal Rumble 94. The building is shaking now when Austin shows up and stuns someone. Bret finally gets a piece of Shawn and lays in the right hands.

What a timid response by the crowd for Jeff. In the heat of the Monday Night Wars you think there would be a bigger reaction to Jarrett. Jeff making fun of Debra is funny since he would be aligned with her during his more successful stint in WWF. Ahmed burial continues even though he is not on TV. Jarrett buries the Double J character. Jeff is stuck in the past as calls Austin the Ringmaster. Ah, we are coming close to the NWA faction.

There is some really bad stuff written on the walls of NOD locker room. It ain’t the MO of the Harts to pull this stuff and it’s an obvious set up. Bret and members of Hart Foundation have looked so bad since Summerslam. I think Melanie interview is much worse because it happened two days after her husband died. That said, people could be upset at the comments written on the walls of the NOD locker room. DX totally outsmarting Harts and NOD. Who the hell is the face is on all this? NOD? I think. Austin hits a Stunner on Faarooq to a massive pop. I’m still confused as to who I should be cheering for.

We get to see Bigelow tossing Spike into the crowd but the fans catching him. But they also use some older footage during this video.

It is a weird tribute.
