The war is on! That was a great ending and I don't give a fuck otherwise. I marked out huge for that.
-
The finish of that tag was one of the worst finishes I've ever seen. It was incredibly cooperative of Swagger to lay down for the other Uso to hit the splash after throwing the previous Uso off the top rope.
-
I thought it was a really great segment. Dusty's sell of the KO punch did make me laugh out loud though.
-
It went down better than I thought. I'm still a little weary about all of this but that segment was a solid start.

I've made no utterances of such kind. And I think some of the complaints here are fairly legitimate even if it is just speculation. Anyways, it will be interesting to see how they go about this. I think having HHH call out Scott Armstrong and force him to "admit" he wasn't capable of continuing his job as official during the match and thus that's why he made a fast count is what might happen. This is all speculation of course and I've yet to say whether I think this path is good or bad. That will come later.
-
Actually, before the show I was thinking they should have Bryan go nuts and get disqualified at the end. It seemed the best option here. Of course, that didn't happen.
-
Scott Armstrong was the official referee of the match. He took a bump towards the end but came back for the finishing sequence woozy. He made a clear fast count after Bryan hit the knee for the win. I think they're (HHH/regime, etc.) going to say Armstrong was unfit to officiate and suffered a concussion or some type of injury during his bump or something to hand the title back to Orton.
-
I might like that. It depends on how it's executed on screen for me to really enjoy it.

Bryan vs. Orton - WWE Title - Really good match that was great at times. Bryan's offensive flurries are such a blast and I liked Orton outsmarting him and rolling to the floor on his initial comeback. The fast count angle is amusing and it's going to be an entertaining show tomorrow because of it. I'm not really sure how I feel about this fast count angle either to be honest. I'm just intrigued that they went this route.
-
Oh my God......they're doing a fast count angle.....

PTP's vs. Shield (Rollins/Reigns) - Tag Title - This was a fun tag match with Titus looking great, D. Young taking a few great bumps, and Rollins looking awesome. The finish was a little off but it was fine. I can't believe myself but I think they're going to give Bryan the title tonight then take it away from him tomorrow on RAW thanks to Cody interference.
-
Ambrose vs. Ziggler - US Title - This was a pretty good match. Ambrose looked really good here and Ziggler was trying some new things on offense and some of it worked. I enjoyed a few of the counters and Ambrose doing slow back rakes and shit.
-
Punk vs. Axel & Heyman - No DQ Handicap Match - I liked the early Heyman stuff but the body of this was shitty at times with some really weak chair shots. The ending was interesting though with Ryback saving Heyman.
-
Miz vs. Fandango - Wow, I was bored. This was the definition of boring wrestling and two wrestlers I care nothing about to boot. Dreadfully dull.
-
Lol at this poll. Booker winning over Flair for greatest WHC is the best example of the WWE's propagandizing.
-
Del Rio vs. RVD - WHC - This was decent. Del Rio was good. I liked his missed tope bump and he took RVD's offense fairly well. The Rolling Thunder miss into back stabber was cool. The finish was whatever. I guess we'll see a re-match next month.
-
Oh, I love heel Del Rio too and I can see this being pretty good because of him.
-
Also, it looks like Matt made a great call watching the Andre match since the first three matches (RVD-Del Rio being next) are full of clusterfuckery, Kofi Kingston, and reckless RVD.
-
AJ vs. Nattie vs. Brie vs. Naomi - Diva's Title - Some of this was kind of good with AJ bumping and the double sharpshooter but then we had Naomi and Brie botching everything and the commentary team making a great point about Brie covering Naomi for the win but the ref not counting so Nattie could do the double sharpshooter. Hilarious.
-
Axel vs. Kofi - IC Title - Man, Kofi was wretched at times here doing silly counter DDT's and that shitty roll up. However, this was a solid match. I think there was some good drama mixed in there and the near fall on the SOS was really good, especially Heyman's reaction. Not bad at all.
-
I know and it's terrible.
-
I'm wondering if this promo is a set-up for Cody running in. It'd get a huge pop but I want them to wait awhile on that.
-
Pre-show: Tag Turmoil - Drew Mac did a tope con hilo and Tensai didn't catch him so he basically landed really hard on his back which looked and sounded nasty. I loved Swagger and Cesaro running with Capes flying in the wind looking like they were charging on Normandy or some shit. The ankle lock finish with the Usos was cool. I'm happy for the PTP's and I loved Darren Young's save too. Fun match.

Del Rio vs. RVD for WHC AJ vs. Nattie vs. Brie vs. Naomi for DT Ambrose vs. Ziggler for US

Okay, let's see here: John Cena vs. CM Punk Raw 2/25/13 - A really awesome tv match for the right to face Rock at Mania for the title. It's a nice little culmination to their rivalry too as they bring out everything to try and win. Alberto Del Rio vs. Big Show Smackdown 1/8/13 (LMS Match) - This was a tremendous performance from Show and the finishing sequence is outstanding. This was a helluva way to start the year in tv. William Regal vs. Kassius Ohno NXT 3/21/13 (this airs in April though I think) - An incredible performance from Regal and quite possibly the television match of the year. Virus vs. Blue Panther CMLL 5/12/13 - I may be mistaken but you might be one of the people here pretty blank on lucha. Even so, this is a really good mat based lucha showcase from two of the best at that style. Rush/Rey Escorpion/Maximo vs. Negro Casas/Terrible/Shocker, CMLL 6/28 - Great wild trios match with Rush/Casas beating the holy hell out of one another and amping up the energy. Charles Lucero vs. Rey Hechicero, Monterrey 8/4 - A great lucha title match from Monterrey and probably my MOTY so far. Jun Akiyama vs. KAI, AJPW 4/29 - I believe this is from the Carnival. Great, great performance from Akiyama. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kota Ibushi, NJPW 8/4 - From the G1 and probably my Japan MOTY. Really good work from both guys here especially Nakamura.
