The problem with Bock-Hennig for me is I watched a very good 53 minutes and a tremendous 7 minutes. I added those together and it made a really, really great match. However, there was only one match on the set where I felt like I was watching one of the greatest matches I've ever seen bell to bell. This one isn't it. My point is this wasn't awesome bell to bell. It was very good for really long time and had an awesome last couple of minutes. A lot of times that doesn't scream number one for me. Plus, I've touched on my opinion in the DVDVR thread that short matches with great narratives with a tremendous end result are more impressive to me than a 60 minute draw with a great narrative and a tremendous end result. Still, the match is my current #4 and it probably won't be moved around anywhere.

Well, that is horrible.

Let's see. Primo looked good in that tag. Mark Henry's music is awesome. That's all I got.

I don't know if this is a great comparison but Jerry lucha might not be best for you. I mean Martel-Rheingans is not lucha matwork but if you can't get into escapes and unique mat work then lucha might not be your calling. Again, it's far from the best comparison but I can't see you enjoying it all.

Anyone who ever says Martel-Rheingans is bad again and argue it because "the holds were boring" or "it's face vs. face" wah, wah, wah, I'm going to troll forever and ever on this board just to be a dick. That's my opinion on those who think this match sucks.

This has been touched on before but I imagine a ton of great Greg is probably in the 70s where footage is marginal. However, I've definitely gotten a better idea of how great Greg was by watching his WWF stuff.

In my opinion, Rey was officially done back in the summer of 2011 where he got shelved for a year. When he came back, he was still over and could seemingly still work but he's been getting nicked up far too often to believe he's ever going to get another significant run in the company. I would guess he'll be back but it's starting to become sad. His knees are totally shot and I'd almost rather him not even try and come back. He'd probably fuck his knees up again in two months.

I've read the Kamala talk in here. I enjoy some of his stuff. I don't enjoy other stuff. JvK doesn't like him so shit on him here. Let's discuss the Ugandan Giant here.

I enjoy Sid fumbling over promos any day but I'm a bigger fan of Goldberg competitive squashes from the Nitro era. Sid's powerbombs are cool but I don't like the fact that my lasting memory of him besides wanting a re-do on a promo is visibly and audibly calling the finish of War Games '91.

As a little kid watching Raven I oddly enjoyed him. As an adult, not so much.

I might consider finding a way to get money to pay to see that.

In my opinion, NO ONE does forearm exchanges like The Hammer.

Yeah, you've been a great help El Boricua. These translations are going to be huge to help in various feuds in context.

Being a Chattanooga guy, these are all great place to see. Especially Rock City and Ruby Falls. We have an Aquarium here too and a great walking bridge with some really nice parks on the North Shore. If you like art we also have a terrific Art District. The Hunter Museum of Art is the big one here. Downtown is a great walk and there's some excellent restaurants here as well. Chatt's right in between Atlanta and Nashville so it would be fairly convenient.

Parv, Coca Cola is a great place to visit in Atlanta. I had a blast there when I went back in high school. There's tons else to do in Atlanta but most of what I did was school related like malls for lunch, the bodies exhibit, the Varsity restaurant (burgers & fries joint), etc. The CNN center is a pretty neat place to see. There's a massive food court and the CNN tour is something I remember finding interesting. Six flags and White Water are great theme parks too. Nashville is a place I oddly have only been to once even I as live in Chattanooga. The music scene is definitely something to check out though. My best advice. Wear light. It's FUCKING HUMID here. It definitely gets well into the 90s also. Don't let that scare you off though. This sounds like a fun trip.

Yeah, Hogan was really fun and seemed to try pretty hard from 84 through 87. After the Harley feud he just coasted from there. Besides the Bossman matches, you'll be hard pressed to find too many Hulk matches from '88 and '89 that are worth a watch.

I love that blood bath and it was the third time I've seen it (I got Buddy's Goodhelmet comp). I put a lot in that review because it's one of my favorite matches ever. I've seen your favorite The Brawl in St. Paul but not the 87 cage. I enjoyed it at the time but have grown to look at structure much more in the last few years since I watched it. I probably won't have it that high. Bock-Hennig will be completely new to me. I'm looking forward to it for sure. I'm hoping to start up disc 8 tonight after some Geology lab midterm studying

You can be and are wrong.

I read every thread ever (not really but I read a lot of them). This includes me reading about matches I've never watched.
-
Yeah, Greg is going to be represented BIG TIME on this new set. Including stuff not many people have seen before.....

Dutch was often creepy. I remember him saying some totally odd shit on the Buddy Rose comp. I can't remember anything specific offhand but that guy was strange as all get out.
