This is one hell of a show tonight
-
Where's Becky?
-
Iconic Duo! Must say, that seemed like one of Charlotte's most comfortable mic performances as a face. These two are burying the life out of her though. And getting over in the process.
-
Really pray that going heel can improve Nak in the ring cause this character looks like it can be great.
-
Red and yellow walls behind Shinsuke a subliminal sign that Hogan is coming back.
-
I'd love that if it was something WWE would actually do but they tend not to really.
-
Interesting. I was expecting Usos to Raw but perhaps not.
-
these guys pulling out the stops to have the banger they didn't get to do at Mania
-
Very much hope they split Big E or Xavier in the shakeup and give them a singles run.
-
There's no chance they book Joe in a Mania title match if he even stays healthy long enough to make it. BRAUN is the answer to their problems here.
-
I know Raw popped a pretty big number last night by modern standards but that's about it
-
Dead at the announcers doing the verbatim speech from last night about the crowd
-
Yep thought the same thing I think they're loading Raw up for the TV negotiations and leaving AJ to carry the blue side. I hope they manage to give us Bryan vs heel Zayn now the line though because he was great at stooging for Bryan at Mania.
-
Makes me think that Bryan goes to Raw next week.
-
Paige the new Smackdown GM
-
PCO and Stephanie McMahon the MVPs of the weekend. Who would have guessed that?
-
I feel like that latter paragraph is what they'll try to do with her. They're clearly going to keep her with Stephanie for a while, but I hope they're smart enough not to have that descend into endless TV handicap matches or whatever. After how they've promoted her there's no way she can have a schedule as limited as Brock's.
-
I think the idea that they wanted Reigns to replace Cena may need to be revised. Or it least it may need to be acknowledged that they've changed their mind back and forward on it a million times.
-
Its been said before, but everything -- good and bad -- rests at the top. That's 100% true, Vince put himself into this situation through repeated fuck ups. Obviously we don't know the full power dynamics at work here but I have to think that HHH as a shrewd political operator in his own right must be seething at how badly they're getting played her. Or just fucking relieved to be working with Ronda instead.

Hes still been a featured star for five years or something so if he was going to damage ratings it would already have happened. I know they arent the be all and end all but he tends to be in the top bracket of stars on their YouTube videos so theres obviously some interest in him, just not from the sorts that go to the shows - especially the big ones. Besides, Seth Rollins got a 9 month title run that only ended due to injury even though it was an all-time ratings killer. I dont think thats the primary concern. I don't think he would be a huge negative. Certainly not a disaster like Rollins was but I don't think he moves the needle in a positive way either. Being a net neutral isn't necessarily bad though when it comes to being on top. Maybe this is just a short sighted choice to wait for the rematch. Which is stupid. That was the kind of job that you don't come back from. If he was going to be at best a neutral to minor net negative then the sensible decision would still be just to let him have the belt for six months and get this thing over the hump once and for all while signalling to fans that the endless stop-start is over. I think that would ease a lot of the frustration tbh, just for fans to know that we've finally got to the next stage of the push. Then if they aren't satisfied, get the title onto Braun or Lashley at Summerslam and either turn the guy or give him a few months away from TV to regroup. Ronda can be the draw now anyway.

If Roman loses then they'll have made him one of the biggest jokes in the history of the company from a character perspective. Victimised by Brock Lesnar indeed. Also, apparently Shane 'stood up' to Lesnar backstage at Mania whatever that means so maybe he'll be the next Universal Champion. Seriously, fuck Brock at this point.
-
Part of my deciding to attend live this year was KNOWING it was going to be his moment, so I was pretty bummed when he lost.On another note, I just finished listening to the reaction show with Zellner and Dem Hales Boys and they had been talking about all kinds of backstage machinations that had possibly taken place before the match. Has any of that been fleshed out further yet? Dave Meltzer said that backstage almost no one knew that Lesnar was going to win. The referee was only told so once he was in the ring. Kris mentioned the idea of Brock sort of hint hint refusing to do the job prior to the match. I wonder why then, if Brock got what he wanted, he supposedly had such a confrontation with Vince afterwards. And how much of this is working the boys bs? I always feel that that's a factor when it comes to Brock.

"He's ambitiously stupid" - Why Scott Keith's new book is scary bad
FMKK replied to Bix's topic in Megathread archive
Like all of his stuff, his humour is warmed over shit that should've been left in the 90s -
Should've done a similar finish to the Lesnar vs Orton Summerslam finish then, except without the hardway
