Best Dynamite in some time this week. Great show all round. The wrestling is always good but it was the character stuff that stood out this week. Starks/Hook/Hobbs, Jungle Boy/Christian, the Bucks/Page/Dark Order, Jericho's involvement, etc. It definitely feels like there's a cycle where things really cool off after a big show. We still get good matches week in week out but it feels like they're treading water a bit otherwise. Then when the time comes TK wakes up and things get hot again as they begin the build to another big show.
Wonder if the trios tournament will be 8 teams or 16. You've got...

The one thing to keep an eye on about that: she's good friends with Freddie Prinze Jr and he has mentioned how he would like to launch his wrestling promotion in the next 18 months and everything. I wouldn't be surprised if he makes an overture to her once her contract with WWE expires to join his promotion while she also tries her hand at acting (as she's expressed interest about before).
It's gonna be interesting to see how she'll fit in with Triple H now in charge of creative, considering that he used her mostly as a valet in NXT for Blake & Murphy. But times have changed and she still sells a shitload of merch, thanks to Lilly and she's real over with the young audience especially.

With Triple H seemingly now in firm control of Creative, do we see any people getting better pushes in the future? Conversely, do we saw any people getting phased out and put on the sidelines?

I could probably see from Gresham's standpoint how he felt like giving the title to Claudio was more about boosting Blackpool Combat Club than actually boosting ROH.

How much of the change in Smackdown verbiage is due to Vince's declining involvement and how much of it is just McAfee being McAfee? He's a fanboy, but he's never been a guy to give much of a fuck about WWE Newspeak.
Vince would've never allowed Xavier Woods to outright pronounce the names of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling the way he did on Friday night. That right there is at least a major difference from Vince's usual micromanagement.
I think Meltzer mentioned on his show today that basically, Stephanie & co. will try not to rock the boat too much as they want to prove that they can run the ship without Vince, which seems to be the stockholders' biggest concern. I believe that once they can prove that, they'll show Kevin Dunn the door. As for Bruce, sure you want to weed out every Vince guy but you can't make the misstep of putting the wrong guy in his place just for the sake of starting anew. If you want someone that understands the ever-important "18-49 demo", you need to find the right guy or right amount of people - and most importantly, make sure they're interested. Sure, we all want Paul Heyman to get another crack but does he really want it or is he content with his position as Roman Reigns' special counsel on TV?

From the Fightful Select report that came out today, they have removed him to replace him by Sofia Cromwell/Maxxine Dupri. While the other members of the stable were on board with the idea, seems like he wasn't so much. In fact, during his last appearance, it seems like he was aware he would be replaced this week. The Fightful report says he might not entirely be done because people in management still like his delivery.
