  1. Regarding Lords of War.....I think it is coming back for another season....really good show. Regarding Mike & Frank having separate businesses yeah that is something that isn't talked about much but they do storylines about Frank getting uppity about Mike spending a lot of "their" money.
  2. Big Brother used to be great but the producers over the past few years have put their hands so deep into it trying to make things go the way they wanted that it's ruined the show.
  3. Yeah the show is based out of a pawn shop in Las Vegas
  4. And even though parts of Pawn Stars are rigged it's still highly entertaining and the spinoffs they have spawned are great as well. American Restoration, Counting Cars, and Lords of War even though it's on a another network are highly informative and entertaining. American Pickers is maybe the least looking staged show on the A&E/History family and the best overall IMO. Sure the freestyles are almost all planned but the way they handle everything makes it look so good.
  5. The best part about the Ron Dale thing is they STILL AIR THE DAMN SHOW on repeats. The WORST of those shows though is Storage Hunters on Tru TV with the homeless man's Dana White as the auctioneer. That show is fucking horrible. That reminds me for a network called Tru TV they have the most scripted looking reality shows
  6. There are reality shows that you don't want to think are scripted that are and wrestling used to be like that and still is to some people. I love shows like Pawn Stars & Storage Wars but they can't help themselves at times exposing how worked they are.
  7. My parents has watched DOOL since the 60's so yes I have seen my fair share of it over the years. You don't want none
  8. I'm thinking 1978 before he went to Memphis would've been the time. It's too bad we don't have more Sterling Golden footage especially him teaming with Austin Idol.
  9. Reality shows are the new pro wrestling anyway
  10. Yeah that and the UWF shows were the extra shows they kept running until like February 1988.
  11. MACW was always Bob Caudle's show from the time he started there. Before the TBS buyout, MACW & WWW were equal shows. At one point in January 1988 with all the TV slots that JCP acquired they had like 6-7 shows going on.
  12. Yep and Jamie Dundee was booking the show for a while.
  13. After the TBS slot buyout....WCW was the main show, Worldwide was the main syndie and MACW was behind it. Main Event became the #2 TBS show and took the spot of the Best of WCW show on Sunday. Power Hour when it started became the #2 TBS show. The shows didn't become full recap shows until the mid 90's.
  14. It didn't help Springer's cause that he started putting on wrestlers under different names portraying people.
  15. The first War Games on 7/4/87 at The Omni
  16. Flair mentioned the Hogan thing in the past
  17. KrisZ

    Velocity

Essa Rios vs. Low-Ki comes to mind
  18. Hogan was working shots for Race & Geigel then with Buck Robley as booker
  19. The Hogan stuff is true and there was talk that he was going to go back to CWF in early 1984 but Vince stepped in.
  20. Here is some Thesz info http://www.infinitecore.ca/superstar/index...?threadid=47709
  21. Is that in response to no one other than Fritz wanting David to be champ? I have doubts that Eddie Graham in 1983 wanted David to be the NWA Champ for 160+ days. But, does any of this from your earlier list look like stuff that Eddie would rather have had David Von Erich defending as the Heel NWA Champ: * * * * * CWF @ Gainesville, FL – O’Connell Center – June 19, 1983 NWA World Heavyweight Title: Harley Race © vs. Barry Windham CWF @ Orlando, FL – Eddie Graham Sports Stadium – June 19, 1983 NWA World Heavyweight Title – SR: Ron Bass: Harley Race © d. Ron Bass by DQ * * * * * I really don't think so. Most of it looks up Harley's alley, not David. David as a heel in Florida a year earlier held every major title in the promotion at one point of his 6 month run and was damn good in his role, hell Kerry even came in and worked heel for some shots then working as Flair's bounty hunters with Dave. Fritz was a heel for lot of his career anyway also.
  22. Wahoo worked in the WWWF in the 60's
  23. I don't know about that.....Eddie Graham was a strong friend of Fritz's and if you look at Harley's schedule he spent a good chunk of his reign in Florida.
  24. The most random was Sinister Minister
  25. Now this is an interesting list http://www.wwe.com/classics/classic-lists/...st-never-in-wwe
