He trended worldwide on Twitter because of it as well

I had someone who knows what's going on tell me the day after Payback that Trips was incensed at how Kevin Dunn and his crew missed the shot of the Shield standing tall over his body at the end of the show.
-
But here is the deal though...it's a war that Dunn knows in the end he is going to lose so he is going hard in the paint right now while he can.
-
Kevin Dunn doesn't like Adam Rose so that's why.....if the producer of the TV show doesn't like the talent and convinces the boss that the talent isn't good then what do you think is going to happen.
-
Did they ever replace the guy that was in charge of programming because since then the movement of new content has stalled
-
Kevin Dunn is one of the main reasons why there is such a struggle within WWE backstage right now as Trips hates his guts and wants him gone, Dunn knows that and has Vince's ear so he uses his influence to get Vince to side with him.

Yeah but it seems like a lot of her opinions though are parroted from F4W/WON
-
They could always do the Taker/Brock rematch like Taker gave rematches to HBK & HHH this time the other way around

Is drawing money overrated as a metric when discussing wrestlers?
KrisZ replied to Loss's topic in Pro Wrestling
This can go for various forms of entertainment..... Country music now is probably the worst it's ever been...serious garbage compared to stuff 20-40 years ago and it's become basically Southern Pop. Nelly, T-Pain, & Ludacris is on country songs right now but......country music is bigger now than ever as they have crossed over to a much broader audience including young women who are driving the business like a freight train. The young women loving it also brings in young dudes because they want to get laid so the cash cow is in full effect. If you want to do big business you have to sacrifice artistic integrity to do it most of the time. As wrestling fans we really shouldn't care about who is drawing money but the problem is that if our favorites aren't doing that then they won't be pushed as high as we think they should and then when some of the guys get to another level and they aren't what they used to be then we become the guys who shit on bands for "selling out" -
Tony Atlas was like 21 when he debuted in 1975 so yeah 1954

I work in retail and posting this on my lunch break and man this angle has gotten more talk today between my co-workers and random customers just talking about it than any angle in a long while. The guys that were legitimately pissed at Rollins for turning were great with quotes like....."I hope Roman Reigns kills that bitch", "Rollins needs all the blonde knocked out of his hair", and "I bet HHH pimped out Stephanie to get Rollins to turn." Then there was the fantasy booking talk of who the Shield will bring in to help them out and what kind of payback will be coming. WWE also owns me some money because I got 4 people to subscribe to the Network just from showing them the highlights from the post-show last night because they didn't see the turn live and only heard about it.

Alan brought up Rusev and I thought that was easily Rusev's best showing in WWE. He looked like a maniac

He picked up at the end....Heyman was great and the Cole bit with Nattie/Tyson was awesome

I've gone on record many times saying that I prefer The Fantastics over The RnR Express which isn't a slight to the RnR's but I think the Fants carried a harder edge than the RnR did. The Fants were modeled after the Fabs and they were almost as good as them.
-
And the problem with Dave thinking that is...is because most of his fans who are all online of course have taken that mentality instead of forming one of their own. If you don't believe that is going on then I got some oceanfront property to sell you in Tennessee.

There is no be all end all regarding how wrestling works because everyone likes what they like. The Sheik is one of the biggest draws in the history of wrestling but his matches were godawful for the most part but he was insanely over. There are also plenty other examples of guys who stunk in the ring who were box office while guys who were solid workers couldn't draw shit.

RAW was in Knoxville tonight and the post-show has been entertaining The crowd was hotter for Cena as he was cutting a promo then singing Rocky Top than they were during the live show. Renee was interviewing Evolution when Trips asked her why she was interviewing them barefooted which was hilarious.
-
And it's that reason why Solar & Negro Navarro can go around the country and have highly praised matches because it is different from what everything else is right now.
-
True but if the story lacks the meat then it could be classified as technically good but not really entertaining. It's a question of do you want steak or do you want the sizzle
-
Tastes can affect standards though....you can think something isn't good because it doesn't fill your taste at that time. Regarding Will's point of course if a form of entertainment has things you like that are constant whether it's guys punching each other in the face, car chase scenes, guitar solos, or 4th quarter comebacks that you perceive achieves the high standard you look for in your entertainment then you would be satisfied.
-
Of course standards change in all forms of entertainment. We all have movies, music, wrestling, etc that we liked and then years later switched to another point of view after your opinions evolved. I used to hate Barry Manilow when I was 18 years old and now I'm 34 and I have 18 songs of his on my iPhone.

Terrible but entertaining at times

This group of people just did karaoke night at a bar in Belgium

Is there really still a discussion of PPV vs. TV these days hell PPV is pretty much a dead talking point...it's all Network now.
