  1. So my brother got to meet the green shirt guy during the show. Aparently he owns a company and works remotely
  2. The flag singlehandedly turned Zelina into the hottest thing here
  3. They're chanting "El Gordito" at BR. It means "the fat one" endearingly. Bronson Reed is getting over lol.
  4. Yesterday's crowd was markier so I didn't expect to be so smarky
  5. In case any of you need translations: Huelebicho: dick sniffer Lambebicho: dick licker Mamabicho: cocksucker Pendejo: dumbass
  6. I was a the show last night at el Choliseo. Main takeaways: Karrion Kross really impressed me. The crowd went from not caring much about him to booing him at every cost. All thanks to his mannerisms, expressiveness and the stiffness of the suplexes and the ring post powerbomb. Most of his character work happened in the commercial break and he really got Shinsuke some sympathy with his control segment. Shinsuke did some amazing sells too, especially with the last back drop. Rey Mysterio's ten count spot and finish were extremely creative... his execution just stands out so much and at 48, he really showed out tonight. Bayley did some amazing work playing to the cheap seats in the dark match afterwards. So many little things: reaching for a desperation tag before an irish whip, the yells and the emoting. Definately got some brownie points if I ever make a GWE ballot. Cody was made for this crowd. His jab-bionic elbow spot plays into the fua chant so well. More of an emotion than an execution wrestler. He is over af and had a good dark match performance Everyone here agrees that the star last night was Dominik. He had three chances to draw insane heat tonight: the opening, the televised ME, and the dark ME, in which he interfered and stayed in Finn's corner. The third one was the best where he almost got into a fight with someone behind the commentary tables. But the three amigos finish, him being outsmarted because of his hubris was magnificent. My favorite spot was a 3 minute Cobra Twist that Finn had on Cody, which was aided with Dom grabbing Finn's hand for extra leverage and flexing to the crowd for heat. Crowd ate him up. You could make a legit argument that the crowd paid money just to boo Dom and that most of thr Huelebicho, Lambebicho, Mamabicho and Pendejo chants were for him... during the tv ME, Dom got them to chant Huelebicho while Rey was shining... Rey being one of the greatest babyfaces of all time. By William Regal's definition of a great worker, Dominik is something special here in PR in a post-kayfabe WWE.
  7. Hi guys, currently inside el Choliseo. LWO shirts are selling like crack, expecting a hot crowd.
  8. To any spanish speakers: Dom gives this entire interview in kayfabe. Granted, the interviewer, Molusco, who is a dick and has a controversial reputation in PR, did a good job of letting Dom speak, elaborate his character, his motives and his role in the JD. There's a lot of nuance in his heel work here. He establishes that his allegiance to the JD comes from the validation they give him, the same validation that his dad didn't give him. There's a fantastic heel moment around 3/4 of the way where Dom talks about when he first learned to run the ropes; here's an abridged translation: D: "the first time I ever ran the ropes, my dad told me to run for five minutes. 15 seconds in, my back was already bruised and I complained. He just responded: "sorry" and told me to keep going. Five minutes later, my back is completely purple" M: "It's Rey asserting his dominance over you. Like, 'hey I'm Rey F'n Mysterio and I've been running these ropes for 30+ years so this is what I feel on the daily'." D: "Exactly. He told me he cried the first time he did this exercise. My uncle, Rey Misterio, Sr. who is also his uncle, told him 'if you're gonna cry, go cry in the corner because wrestlers don't cry' so he cried, wiped away his tears, and kept going. Of course, I didn't cry because I'm a real man." In one fell swoop Dom puts his dad over, gathers sympathy for him and heels it up. For any completionists out there, Molusco also interviewed Damian Priest yesterday out of kayfabe and Chicky Starr last week. He is a respectful, although casual interviewer.
  9. I'm gonna be honest, I don't really know if you're being sarcastic here lol. Quick shout out here to Jumbo singing a verse in a rare version of his theme "Rolling Dreamer."
  10. I also love his axe handle and blows to the back. All of his blows at the end of his career carried a real pettiness to them.
  11. Sorry about that. I'll make up for this next time. You're an ace in my heart
  12. How about best body language? Comunicating with a mask? Playing to the cheap seats? If only (Liger) there was (Liger) an entirely obvious (Liger) answer.
