Arse, I just can't seem to land me a full complement of Irwins. Oh well.

This is just a fascinating , topsy turvy, terrifying alternate universe we are about to to enter, where Georgia wrestling gets absorbed by Alabama and the WWF is taken over by 2 Canadian promotions.

World Class Championship Wrestling Results

So, did the Parsons vs Studd match actually happen? I see the interview, but I don't see the match result. -
Two Dogs On A Leash is such an awesome name for a match. Sterling work as usual.
-
So you can either loan him out in exchange for getting to use other people, or cut him loose in the draft and whoever gets him in the draft can get the same set up.
-
Andre IRL worked freelance but he was under contract to the McMahons. I think it should more or less continue as before : if dawho chooses to keep him, he gets Andre but can loan him out and inherits the old commitments. Should he decide to put him in the draft, the person who drafts Andre gets the same.
-
I don't think announcers went into the draft, they certainly weren't in the original draft and don't recall that happening in previous dispersal drafts. Then again, a dispersal of the WWF is a unique event.
-
Yeah, I think the best is a combined draft. Besides that, last thing that needs to be set up is the draft order.

Just to clarify, we are going to put both WWF and Georgia into one big everything draft rather than 2 separate ones, correct?
-
Gotta say, there are plenty of goodies available for everyone in the draft, but you still have a core of great guys coming into your own territory. This is distinctly win-win (-win).

Kind of psyched/nervous for my first draft all to myself ... hope I can keep the streak alive.

10:30 Eastern time. No word from Jim. Time to move ahead. If he says after this that he is interested, hopefully there is some way he can get involved (one promoter has already mentioned he would be welcome to work with them) but there is no sense in putting this off any further.

I am working until 9:00 Eastern tonight. I should be home by 10:00 Eastern. I am cut off from most forms of personal internet communication until then (although I still have access to the board). If he hasn't sent me something saying he is in when I get home, then I say we move forward. Sound fair?
-
Guys, Just heard from my friend Jim this morning (he had been away all weekend) and he said he thinks he would be interested but will let me know for certain tomorrow. I know we have been making plans to move forward anyhow, but what I am asking is this : folks can put together their keep and drop lists and even post them if they wish, but hold off on commiting until tomorrow evening (Eastern Time). If Jim decides not to come in or I don't hear back from him, at that point we can start drafts and divvy things up. If he decides to come in, he will let us know what territory he wants and we can move on from there. Is that alright? I am not wanting to needlessly prolong or over-complicate things, but I feel that this project is better served, if possible, with as many functioning promotions as possible and hope that one more day isn't too much to ask.
-
Sorry, guys, haven't heard back from my friend , guess you might as well go ahead.
-
Nebraska and Colorado are both AWA territories, but I would be willing to work out some sort of time sharing. Plenty of room for everyone.
-
I have a friend who might be interested, if I could have one day to check in with them.
-
Once again, staying put.

Don't know what is going on with the KrisZ pick, but I will pass my pick after him.

Once I was offered Eddie Mansfield, I knew right away how I would want to bring him in. I have been throwing in little clues as to what would happen in the 6 man tag for a while now but I wanting to make sure I didn't completely give it away. Nice to know I was successful at least on the last count. I am losing One Man Gang for a month to a Japanese tour, so I wanted to give him a worthy send off.
