Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna, August 3rd The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) The patriotic duo came out on top over the former champs, with the Patriot hitting the Uncle Slam on Tatum. David Cash vs. Toshiaki Kawada Kawada continued his rampage, taking out Cash with a sheer fall brainbuster. Dan Severn vs. Jimmy Del Ray The Beast showed his considerable technical expertise as he defeated the Gigolo with a backdrop suplex. Jason Jett vs. Sabu Young Jett put in a feisty effort against Sabu, but the Bombay Madman was too much to overcome, hitting a slingshot legdrop for the win. Jushin Liger vs. The Lightning Kid Liger came back hard after Deseret Storm, taking down the Kid with a running palm thrust to the jaw. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Shinya Hashimoto Condrey faced his toughest challenger yet in the person of the former TV champ. Hashimoto really took it to the champ, and Condrey had to dig into his resourcefulness to go to a 20 minute time limit draw. The Loverboy may still be the champ, but he just barely survived this match.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN , August 2nd The Sons Of The Beach (The Sandman & Cannonball Grizz) vs. Big Vito Lograsso & Billy Black The SoBs are coming off a great showing at Deseret Storm and rode that wave right into this match, topping the Hollywood Heartbreakers duo when Sandman hit a swinging neckbreaker on Black. The Thrillseekers vs. The Midnight Express Jericho and Storm were carrying some of the damage at the hands of the League Of Gentlemen into this match. You never want to give the Midnight Express any kind of advantage, and Cornette's men capitalized with the Veg-O-Matic on Jericho. Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Scotty The Body These two continued their feud with PCO coming out on top with the Cannonball, to the great pleasure of the Canadian fans. Roddy Piper & Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mike Awesome & Brian Lee The monsters of the League Of Gentlemen and the Playboy Club joined up to take on two big fan favorites, and the result was chaos, with the ref ultimately declaring a No Contest while all four men brawled in the ring. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bully Busick © vs. Rob Zakowski Zakowski, the young firebrand of the Hexagon, impressed many in this match with his big moves and intensity, but Busick stayed the course and put an end to his challenge with the Spinebuster Slam. Rick Martel & Bret Hart vs. Ted Dibiase & Buddy Rose The evening closed out with the leaders of two of the main factions in PCW facing off against two Canadian favorites. The huge egos of Dibiase and Rose worked surprisingly well together, doing and incredible job of holding the line against the Canadian duo. In the end, Martel and Hart proved to be the superior team, with Martel dropkicking Dibiase into a Crucifix by Hart, giving the Hitman a win over the Pacific Champ.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria, on ESPN / TSN, August 1st Chris Hamrick vs. Tyrone Davis Chris Hamrick is less than a year into his career, but has developed something of a cult following among the fans. The scrappy Southerner has always given his best and even pulled out some underdog wins, and showed his colourful personality and fun moves in this showcase against Davis. Hamrick put Davis away with the Franken-Hamrick, to the great cheers of the fans. He may be young, but Confederate Currency definitely has a place in the hearts of the PCW fandom. Tommy Dreamer vs. Toshiaki Kawada Toshiaki Kawada has always been a tough competitor, but lately he has gotten sadistic to the point of scary. Tommy Dreamer was the latest to get in the path of the Japanese Nightmare. The former Golden State tag champ put up a struggle but was chewed up by the sheer viciousness of Kawada's offense. He could not escape the Kawada Crab, and Kawada was once again triumphant. The latest member of the League Of Gentlemen is certainly proving to be the man to beat. Shane Douglas vs. Jimmy Del Ray Although he ended up going down to the Midnight Express at Deseret Storm, Shane Douglas pulled off something of a coup in the same match by pinning California champ Dennis Condrey. Jim Cornette is clearly determined to nip this challenge in the bud, sending out Gigolo Jimmy to sanction the up and comer. Del Ray fought a dirty game, but Douglas was able to fight his way through it, pinning him after the Belly To Belly Suplex. Sooner of later, Condrey will have to face off with Douglas. Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Oregon Wrecking Crew (Gary Albright & David Young) © vs. Stormfront (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) Speaking of up and comers, the OWC are a fairly young team, but have clearly proved themselves worthy of their spot in the Terror Collective by fiercely defending the Golden State Tag Titles against all comers. That said, Stormfront are former champs themselves and were out to show that they were not a team to overlook. They put a real scare into the champs, and while Albright was able to put down Snow with a German Suplex, they got a real scare from the Citadel duo. Yes, the OWC have proved themselves, but they are going to need to keep on proving themselves to maintain their grip on the titles. Barry Windham & The Thrillseekers vs. Chris Adams & Harlem Heat At Deseret Storm, Barry Windham went down to the Superkick of Chris Adams. The big Texan was not going to let that go unanswered, and brought in his Brigade partners to take another shot at Adams and the League Of Gentlemen. Adams and Heat landed some hard shots against Jericho and Storm, but the Canadians kept bouncing back, and when they got their leader in, Windham started collecting some dues. The two time former Pacific champ landed some heavy blows, and was able to dodge the Superkick before leveling Stevie Ray with a Western Lariat for the victory. A big win, but you just know that Windham is going to want to get his hands on Adams again.

Pacific Coast Wrestling Deseret Storm from the Salt Palace, Salt Lake City Squadron Battle : The Sons Of The Beach (Cannonball Grizz & The Sandman) , Roddy Piper, Bret Hart & Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Buddy Rose, Brian Lee, Scotty The Body & The Suicide Blondes (Chris Candido & Louie Spicolli) The Playboy Club have never had a shortage of enemies, and Deseret Storm got off to a roaring start with an assortment of their most high profile foes lining up to take a shot at them. The SoBs and the Blondes were quick to go after each other, and they tore into each other for much of the match. Sandman was able to eliminate Candido with a swinging neckbreaker, and a running cross body from Grizz was too much for Spicolli to overcome. That removed the Suicide Blondes from the equation. PCO was determined to go after Scotty The Body, but Scotty kept tagging in Brian Lee to do his dirty work. Ouellet was still game and fought hard with the Bulldozer, but when attempting a package piledriver on the big man, Scotty snuck in the ring and laid him low with a low blow from behind. Lee then hit the Prime Time Slam to eliminate the Fighting French Canadian. The Body and the Playboy to let Lee do much of the heavy lifting, particularly as he wore down Bret Hart, but Scotty tagged in to get the elimination himself. Bret was playing possum , and countered an attempted Body Shot (DDT) with a small package that got the one two three. Lee kept battling, but the odds were against him. Hart dropkicked him into a belly to back suplex by Piper, and it was all down to Buddy Rose. The Playboy looked across the ring and saw 4 men against his one and decided it wasn't worth it, running back to the locker room with Tina Ferrari and taking the countout loss. Survivors : The Sons Of The Beach (Cannonball Grizz & The Sandman), Roddy Piper & Bret Hart Squadron Battle : Steven Regal, Sgt. Slaughter & The Thrillseekers vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory), Makhan Singh & Fit Finlay A bit of a feud has sprung up between the Thrillseekers and Coast 2 Coast, and that formed the backbone of this matchup. The first throwdown was between Sarge and Finlay, with two of the toughest men in PCW throwing big haymakers at each other. Finlay was pounding on Slaughter in the corner, but the double tough DI came roaring out of the blocks with the Slaughter Cannon, then followed up with a second rope kneedrop for the pinfall. Much of the next section was a tag duel between the Thrillseekers and Coast 2 Coast, but Tatum and Victory got Singh to tip the balance, with an attempted cross body by Storm ending up in a Monster Mash (front slam) by Singh to eliminate the young Canadian. Jericho did his bet, but kept being double teamed by Tatum and Victory, and a California Kick put Jericho down for the count. Coast 2 Coast were now up in numbers but not for long . The Monster couldn't stay away from Regal and kept going after him. Regal fired back with a series of vicious forearm smashes, knocking Singh out of the ring. When Singh tried to crawl back in, Regal nailed him with a Knee Trembler to the side of the head to knock him back out, and the Monster was unable to make the count. It was now a battle of the experience of Slaughter and the technical skill of Regal against the tag team coordination of Tatum and Victory. They battled it out for quite some time until Slaughter trapped Victory in the Cobra Clutch , forcing him to tap out. Regal was then able to pin Tatum with the Regal Plex , and he and Slaughter stood tall in victory. Survivors : Steven Regal & Sgt. Slaughter Squadron Battle : Jushin Liger, Dragon Azul, Stormwatch (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) , Too Cold Scorpio & Big Bully Busick vs. Art Barr, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Rob Zakowski, The Lightning Kid & Sabu The next match had members of Citadel joining forces with Too Cold Scorpio and the Thunder Dragons to face the Hexagon. The Sinister Minister's men have had their ups and downs but are always a threat, and drew first blood when a slingshot Legdrop from Sabu eliminated Jerry Lynn. Al Snow avenged his partner with a Snow Bomb on Lightning Kid, and the Citadel's side got one up in the numbers when Busick put down Sabu with his always devastating Spinebuster Slam. The advantage did not last long and ended in shocking fashion. After a bruising exchange of shots, Busick attempted a standing armbar on Malenko, only for Dean to counter it with a backslide. He held the TV champs shoulders to the mat for a three count to send him out of the match. The Hexagon went back into the lead by way of a Frog Splash by Barr on Scorpio, but not long after that, Liger caught the Light Heavyweight Champ with a running palm thrust to the jaw, ending the night for Barr. Snow was the next one out, by way of a Split Legged Moonsault by Zakowski, and a Tornado DDT from Guerrero took out Dragon Azul. It was now Jushin Liger against three men. The masked man held out for as long as possible, but a Brainbuster from Malenko finally put him down, leaving the Hexagon standing triumphant. Survivors : Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero & Rob Zakowski Squadron Battle : Bam Bam Bigelow, Barry Windham, Shinya Hashimoto & The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) vs. Chris Adams, Toshiaki Kawada, Mike Awesome & Harlem Heat Another faction that has been coming on strong lately would be Chris Adams' League Of Gentlemen. Rising from the ashes of the Diamond Exchange, the League have been getting impressive victories over top talent, and would be facing a team of several former champions. The League were the first on the board with Harlem Heat eliminating Shane with the Harlem Hangover . Windham balanced the books by beating Stevie Ray with the Western Lariat, and Bam Bam removed Harlem Heat from the equation with a Slingshot Splash on Booker T. Awesome then made his impact, pinning Dreamer with the Awesome Bomb. A Superkick from Adams eliminated Hashimoto. It was three on two, but Bigelow and Windham proved to be a tough nut to crack, with the pair tagging in and out and knocking the League about the ring. It was then that Awesome made the sacrifice play. He torpedoed Bigelow with a crushing spear, sending them both out of the ring. He kept slugging it out with Bam Bam, not even bothering to try to get back in the ring, and both men were counted out. Adams and Kawada ganged up on Windham, lacing into him with vicious kicks, but the 2 time former Pacific Champ rallied. He nearly nailed Adams with a lariat, but Adams ducked at the last seconds, and when he came back of the ropes, Kawada ambushed him with a spin kick to the back of the head. Windham staggered right into a Superkick from Adams that struck him flush on the jaw, and that was that. Survivors : Chris Adams & Toshiaki Kawada Squadron Battle : Shane Douglas, Steve Blackman, Dan Severn & The Money Train (David Cash, Jason Jett & Chris Hamrick) vs. The Midnight Express, Dennis Condrey & The Hollywood Heartbreakers (Big Vito Lograsso, Billy Black & Jimmy Del Ray) Jim Cornette came out with a bit of a bug in his bonnet, and given his crew's recent frustrations, it was certainly understandable. Camp Cornette came out hot, with Big Vito taking out Cash with the Sicilian Smash (running forearm smash to the face). Jett was the next to go, by way of a Rocket Launcher from the Midnight Express. While Cornette's men got pretty arrogant at this point, their opposition struck back when Blackman forced Black to tap out by way of the Cross Armbreaker. Vito was very keen to avenge his loss last week and relentlessly went after Chris Hamrick, but his aggression caught up with him when the Redneck Casanova caught him coming off the ropes with a Franken-Hamrick to send him out of the mat. Hamrick didn't have long to celebrate his win, as Condrey immediately nailed him with the Inverted DDT for the next elimination. Severn evened things up with a bridging back suplex on Del Ray, but no sooner had the ref's hand come down for the count of three than Eaton came off the top with the Alabama Jam and took out the Beast. A double goozle from the Midnights on Blackman made it three to One. The Midnights were relentless in tormenting Douglas, but he fought back hard. Condrey made the mistake of walking right into a belly to belly suplex, and Douglas had taken out the California Champ. Douglas put in a valiant effort, but the Midnight Express finally put an end to his heroic run with the Veg-O-Matic. Cornette came out on top, and was just as insufferable as you could imagine. Survivors : The Midnight Express Squadron Battle : Rick Martel, Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron), & The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. Ted Dibiase, Steve Williams, Terry Gordy & The Oregon Wrecking Crew (Gary Albright & David Young) The evening closed off with the Terror Collective squaring off against a murderer's row of top contenders. The Force Of July struck first against their rivals with a flying double shoulder tackle on Young. Albright came raging back, eliminating the Eagle with a huge German Suplex. In an intense power duel, Willams Oklahoma Stampeded the Patriot out of the match. Iron & Steel showed their effectiveness with Cameron sending out Albright by way of the the Harlem Hammer (running double axe handle to the back of the head) . Things got down to the Nitty Gritty with the 6 remaining men battling it out with no eliminations for a long while. Just like that, it went down to one on one as the MVC and Iron & Steel got into an out of control brawl until the ref finally had no choice but to Disqualify both teams. It was now Dibiase vs. Martel, the Pacific champ against the top contender. It was a long technical duel between the two, which Dibiase tried to subvert with his dreaded black glove, only for Martel to kick it out of his hand. Martel went up top and feinted at a Diving Cross Body Press, but when Dibiase ducked, Martel shifted into a top rope Sunset Flip. One … two … THREE !!!!! Martel had beaten the Pacific Heavyweight Champion! Dibiase will have no choice but to give him a rematch now! Survivor : Rick Martel

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Selland Arena, Fresno, July 20th The Thrillseekers vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) Last week, Tatum and Victory got a win over the Thrillseekers, but clearly wanted to get some more shots in on the younger team. Their overconfidence would cost them, as a running cross body from Jericho assisted by a schoolboy trip from Storm gave the exciting young duo the pinfall over Victory. Chris Hamrick vs. Big Vito Lograsso Hamrick's run of strong showings continued in his match with the Italian Stallion, knocking Vito down with an arched big boot before defeating him with the Confederate Crunch. The Force Of July (The Eagle & The Patriot) vs. The Midnight Express Jim Cornette's woes continued as, despite an intense effort from the Midnights , the Patriotic Pair took down Sweet Stan with a double flying clothesline and emerged triumphant. Dan Severn vs. Gary Albright Severn had faced Albright in a feud some years ago and came out on top. The Beast seemed caught off guard by Albright's progress since then , and the Animal's confidence from being Golden State Tag champ and a member of the Terror Collective clearly bolstered his aggression. Severn was just barely able to hold off Albright for a 20 minute time limit draw. The Thunder Dragons (Jushin Liger & Dragon Azul) vs. Art Barr & Eddie Guerrero The feud between these two duos has led to some spectacular matches, and this one was no different. It ended with Dragon pinning Barr after a flying victory roll, a major victory over the Light Heavyweight champ. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Al Snow Cornette was determined to get his men at least one victory, and he tripped Snow attempting a springboard clothesline. This set him up for a Full Nelson Facebuster which put an end to his challenge. Snow had been doing quite well up to that point, and certainly deserves another chance at Loverboy Dennis' belt.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Cow Palace , San Francisco, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, July 19th Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mike Awesome The latest battle in the war between these two behemoths was evenly match for the most part, until Bam Bam exploded in a flurry of headbutts that staggered awesome. He then came off the top with a flying headbutt that gave the match to the Beast From The East. David Cash & Jason Jett vs. Chris Adams & Toshiaki Kawada Adams has become perfectly in synch with his newest League Of Gentlemen colleague, as they showed with the merciless drubbing they gave the Money Train rookies. They polished off Cash with a double superkick, and seemed especially arrogant about it afterwards. Bret Hart, Pierre Carl Ouellet & Sgt. Slaughter vs. Buddy Rose, Scotty The Body & Brian Lee A feud has sprung up between PCO and Scotty, and even though the Fighting French Canadian was fighting off Brian Lee, it was a sneak attack from Scotty that set him up for the Prime Time Slam. A dirty win for the Playboy Club, and you know PCO is not going to stand for it. Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Miracle Violence Connection © vs. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) The former Golden State champs put in an heroic effort, but the MVC were too much to handle, with Gordy putting down dreamer with a big Power Bomb. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bully Busick © vs. Dean Malenko Malenko gave Busick his toughest challenge yet, staying out of the way of his power offense and coming close to locking in his trademark submission holds. The Man From Powerhouse Hill was able to catch the second generation star with his devastating Spinebuster Slam to come out with his title, but it was a very close escape. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ted Dibiase © vs. Roddy Piper Dibiase is normally all poise and confidence, but the unconventional style of Piper flustered the Man Of Means to no end. Hot Rod's taunting and confusing stood him well, and he was very close to locking in the Sleeper Hold. Unfortunately that was when Brian Lee decided to intervene, attacking Piper for the DQ. Dibiase figured good enough, and bailed from the ring while the two slugged it out. A pity, as the match was a hot one before the Bulldozer stuck his nose in Rowdy Roddy's business.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland, on ESPN / TSN, July 18th Harlem Heat vs. Jimmy Johnson & Jimmy Tarrantino Last week, the three singles wrestlers of the League Of Gentlemen made a pretty definitive demonstration of their considerable firepower. This week , it would be the League's tag team to show what they were capable of. Booker T and Stevie Ray rampaged over Johnson and Tarrantino in definitive style with power moves and clubbing blows. The two rookies didn't stand a chance, and the Heat put down Tarrantino with the Harlem Hangover. The League Of Gentlemen and becoming a truly scary unit. The Sons Of The Beach (Cannonball Grizz & The Sandman) vs. Jimmy Del Ray & Billy Black Last week, the SoBs had a bit of a setback with a loss over their hated rivals, the Suicide Blondes. They came roaring back with a vengeance this week against the Hollywood Heartbreakers. Jim Cornette and his men certainly pulled out their fair share of dirty tricks, but the Surfing Superstars prevailed, with Sandman taking out Del Ray with a Piledriver. You just can't keep the Sons from catching that wave. Shane Douglas vs. Bobby Eaton Another of Cornette's men would be in action against young Shane Douglas. Douglas has been a regular and enthusiastic presence in the PCW roster for some time now, but seems determined to break through to the next level. The considerable skill of Eaton was a lot to overcome, but Douglas was patient and caught him in the Belly To Belly Suplex for the win. Shane Douglas is definitely a star on the rise. Jerry Lynn vs. The Lightning Kid The Hexagon and the Citadel have been swapping wins back and forth all year, showing just how determined both side is to prove themselves. Lynn is coming off a big win last week over Rob Zakowski, and now would be facing Zakowski's partner, the Lightning Kid. This led to an incredibly fast paced match, and Lynn came close to getting another win, but a reverse diving cross body block by the Kid would score the pinfall. You can bet that the war between the two sides is going to get even hotter from here. Steven Regal vs. Makhan Singh Ever since his return to PCW, the Monster has kept his focus locked in on Regal, but the English Lion has refused to crumble. Despite the considerable size and power of Singh, Regal kept chipping away and him, wearing him down little by little. Regal was able to clothesline Singh over the top rope. He then hit a running diving kneedrop off the ring apron on Singh, and was able to beat the count back in to score a countout. Not the definitive win that Regal wanted, perhaps, but it was no mean feat to get one up on the big man.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, July 13th Stormfront (Al Snow & Jeryr Lynn) vs. Sabu & Rob Zakowski Another furious battle between these two sides, with Snow hitting a spectacular Snow-Sault on Sabu for the hard fought win. The Thunder Dragons (Jushin Liger & Dragon Azul) vs. Art Barr & Eddie Guerrero The Hexagon came back with a victory after Barr pinned Dragon following a Tombstone Piledriver. Dan Severn vs. Big Vito Lograsso The enforcer for Camp Cornette gave Severn a considerable amount of bruises, but the Beast came roaring back, taking the wind out of the Italian Stallion's sails with a takeover suplex before forcing him to tap out to the Body Scissors Sleeper. Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Oregon Wrecking Crew (Gary Albright & David Young) © vs. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) The OWC successfully defended their titles against the former champs, with David Young pinning Dreamer following his feared Spinebuster Slam. Shinya Hashimoto vs. Scotty The Body Hashimoto took out his old rival with a Brainbuster. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Chris Hamrick Confederate Currency's hard work paid off with a shot at the California title. Hamrick certainly showed what he had, putting a scare in Condrey at several points. Ultimately, the experience of the champ spelled the difference as he put a stop to Hamrick's challenge with an Inverted DDT. A disappointing result for the challenger, but Hamrick should be proud of his effort in his first major turn in the singles spotlight.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Portland Memorial Coliseum , Portland , on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, July 12th Pacific Submission Title Match : Steve Blackman © vs. Dean Malenko Blackman has been focusing lately on tag team action, but he is still the Submission champ and he is still the standard to which other submission wrestlers must aspire. The evening opened with an intense defense against former champ Malenko. Larry Cameron vs. Steve Williams Members of the Miracle Violence Combination and Iron & Steel faced off in singles action in a bruising power duel that went to Dr. Death with a brutal Backdrop Driver on Cameron. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bully Busick © vs. Jimmy Del Ray The Man From Powerhouse Hill continued his acclaimed and popular title reign, forcing the Gigolo to give up to the Bully Bender. Tony Atlas vs. Terry Gordy Atlas avenged his partner's earlier loss, fighting his way out of an attempted Asiatic Spike and taking down Gordy with a huge piledriver to even the score with the MVC. Bret Hart & Roddy Piper vs. Buddy Rose & Brian Lee As crazy a match as you can imagine, culminating in Bret dropkicking Lee into a belly to back suplex by Piper to get the win over the Playboy Club. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ted Dibiase © vs. Barry Windham It looked like Dibiase was caught off guard by the intensity of Windham's challenge, as he was backpedaling for much of the match. Not matter what roadblocks the champ threw in front of him, the big Texan would power right through them. Dibiase wound up resorting to pulling the ref into the path of a Western Lariat. Windham followed up with a waistlock suplex, but the ref didn't make the count when he recovered, instead disqualifying Dibiase. That will likely cost Dibiase some money, but the Man Of Means hardly cares about so long as he keeps his title.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN, July 11th Chris Adams, Mike Awesome & Toshiaki Kawada vs. Ben Browning, Russell Swann & Shannon Elkins From the ashes of the Diamond Exchange has risen the League Of Gentlemen. Along with Harlem Heat, Adams has helped shape Awesome and Dangerous K into serious contenders, and this match showed why. They really went to town on their young opponents, with Adams and Kawada battering Browning bloody with brutal kicks, before Awesome put the final stamp on it by crushing Elkins with an Awesome Bomb. With the various factions fighting for dominance in PCW, the League are coming out of nowhere to become a dangerous new element. The Thrillseekers vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) If one thing can be said about Coast 2 Coast, it is that they have a distinct distaste for pretty young tag teams. Their previous feud with the Dreamboats was steeped in hatred, and in this match, they clearly didn't like the Thrillseekers any more. For their part, Jericho and Storm were not intimidated, and fired back at Tatum and Victory with equal intensity. The battle raged back and forth, and it just barely went to the former champs when Jericho attempted a springboard clothesline on Tatum, only to be met with a California Kick. Victory held off Storm just long enough to get the three count, but you can bet that Coast 2 Coast are not done with the Thrillseekers just yet. Chris Hamrick vs. Billy Black Little by little, Chris Hamrick has been rising above the crop of promising young rookies and proving himself to be an exciting new talent. "Confederate Currency" went toe to toe with the "Redneck Casanova", and in spite of several attempts at interference by Jim Cornette, Hamrick caught Black coming off the ropes with the Franken-Hamrick and got the one two three. Hamrick looks to have a bright future ahead of him on the West Coast. Shane Douglas vs. David Young Two more young contenders are Shane Douglas and David Young, with Douglas being a rallying point of the Citadel and Young being one half of the Golden State Tag Team champs. They certainly proved their mettle tonight in a tightly contested bout that ended when Young attempted his deadly Spinebuster Slam, only to have it blocked by a boot to the face. Douglas followed up with the Belly To Belly Suplex and that was that. With these young contenders coming into their own, it looks like the future of PCW is in good hands. The Sons Of The Beach (The Sandman & Cannonball Grizz) vs. The Suicide Blondes The evening closed out with another chapter in the heated rivalry between the SoBs and the Blondes. Much of their matches have fallen into the hands of the Surfing Superstars, but the Blondes were dead set on getting back on the board. It was a chaotic match, as one would imagine, but the Sandman was set to put it away with a top rope legdrop on Spicolli . Tina Ferrari swiftly jumped on the ring apron and shoved Sandman off the top turnbuckle, sending him crashing to the mat. Peaches tackled Tina, but the damage had been done, and Candido nailed a running legdrop on Sandman to score the pinfall. The Blondes had stolen the win, but that isn't going to hold back the SoBs for long.

Wow, Christopher sure is earning his keep with the pounding he just took. Huge win for the Bossman and the mystery of Lawler's enemy deepens.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Kelowna Memorial Arena, Kelowna, July 6th Chris Hamrick vs. Stan Lane "Confederate Currency" scored a huge upset over "Sweet Stan", taking him down with an arched big boot and defeating him with the Dixie Drop. The Thrillseekers vs. Harlem Heat The beloved rookies played cat and mouse with the much bigger team and kept one step ahead of them for much of the match until Booker T caught Storm with the Bookend, giving the win to Harlem Heat . Jason Jett & David Cash vs. The Midnight Express Interestingly, this would be the Eaton and Condrey configuration of the MX, and they showed they had not lost a step, putting down a game Money Train duo, with Condrey taking down Jett with a lariat followed by Eaton's Alabama Jam. Jushin Liger vs. Edddie Guerrero A thrilling light heavyweight bout that went to Liger with a shooting star press. Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Scotty The Body Scotty was out for revenge from the earlier pinfall loss to the Fighting French Canadian , but PCO blocked the Body Shot (DDT) and countered with a choke slam for the win. Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Art Barr © vs. Dragon Azul These two had another classic as Dragon fought hard to regain the title, with Barr hitting a spectacular dropkick and then landing the Frog Splash to successfully defend his title.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN , July 5th Jerry Lynn vs. Rob Zakowski While much of the attention has been paid to the battles between Al Snow and Sabu, their partners have been holding up their end of the fight, and had a fast paced and exciting duel. It looked like it would be another victory for Zakowski when he went up for a Split Legged Moonsault. At the last second, Lynn got his knees up, causing much pain for Zakowski. Lynn got back to his feet and scooped up Zakowski for a Tombstone Piledriver, pulling out something of an upset. Steven Regal vs. Makhan Singh These two hated enemies had a heated brawl until Regal was able to knock Singh out of the ring with a spinning forearm smash to the face. As Singh was trying to get back into the ring, Regal nailed the Monster with the Knee Trembler to the side of the head, causing Singh to fall back out and be counted out. Dan Severn & Steve Blackman vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) Severn and Blackman are proving themselves more and more in the tag team ranks, and pulled off a big win over the former champs with Blackman taking Tatum out with a Running Bicycle Kick. Shane Douglas vs. Jimmy Del Ray Douglas may be young but has developed at a considerable rate in PCW, catching the Gigolo with a Belly To Belly Suplex for the win. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mike Awesome The feud between these two continues to roll on. After an absolute war, Awesome was able to dodge an attempted avalanche from Bigelow, then follow it up with a bulldog off the second turnbuckle to put down the Beast From The East. Ted Dibiase & The Miracle Violence Combination vs. Rick Martel, Bret Hart & Barry Windham Speaking of wars, both sides of this match were clearly coming out ready for battle and wasted no time in getting right down to it. This was an epic battle, with both teams going all out and being determined to come out on top. After a long conflagration, Dibiase got set to put out Martel with the Million Dollar Legsweep, but the French Canadian superstar blocked it and countered with a schoolboy rollup. As Windham and Hart cut off Gordy and Williams with dual dropkicks, Martel held Dibiase's shoulders down for the count of three. The fans exploded in cheers at the victory of their Canadian hero, now even more determined than ever to get Dibiase back for a title match.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Victoria Memorial Arena, Victoria, on ESPN / TSN, July 4th Rick Martel vs. Billy Black Canadian legend Martel has made an impressive return to the West Coast, but you just know he will not be satisfied until he gets another crack at Ted Dibiase and the Pacific Heavyweight Title. Tonight , he would be facing Billy Black, and while the "Redneck Casanova" got some hard shots in , the much more experienced Martel hit a reverse diving cross body for the win. His fellow Canadians applauded his victory, but Martel has his sights set higher. Al Snow vs. Sabu These two have sparked a pretty fierce feud, and just can't seem to stay away from each other. While there was certainly a fair share of fierce brawling, this actually came down to a battle of rollups, with a Sunset Flip by Sabu scoring the three count. This has quickly become the centrepiece of the war between the Citadel and the Hexagon. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guest is a big favorite here in PCW … "Rowdy" Roddy Piper! The crowd explodes in cheers as Roddy Piper comes out to the sounds of "Scotland The Brave" on bagpipes. Hot Rod takes time to slap palms with the fans, but you can tell he has something on his mind. Coss : Roddy, your ongoing battle with the Playboy Club has taken a bit of a different turn of late. Piper : You ain't just blowing smoke, Donny Boy. Sure, I love playing little pranks on Jelly Roll. All just good natured shenanigans, of course. Boobsy loves it, even if he would never admit it. But now he has to get some tall drink of water called the Bulldozer involved. Not sure that is entirely fair, there, Buddy Boy. Well, I'm not really one to play fair myself, so the Bulldozer is going to get some sand thrown in his gears. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bully Busick © vs. Jack Victory The Man From Powerhouse Hill may have started his return to PCW on the wrong side of the tracks, but it didn't take long for him to get back on the right path, proving to be a beloved and dominant TV champ. He wasn't thrown by the dirty tactics of the Big V, having walked that path himself he knew how best to counteract them. Busick held his ground and took down Victory with the Bully Breaker (hangman neckbreaker) to the great pleasure of the fans. Interview : Don Coss stands in the ring Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests are perhaps the most dominant faction in PCW … the Terror Collective! The fans rain down boos on Ted Dibiase as he leads Terry Gordy, Steve Williams, David Young and Gary Albright head out to the ring, with Dibiase giving his trademark laugh in response. Dibiase : What is this "perhaps" nonsense, Coss? We ARE the most dominant faction in PCW. Look at us! Five men, five title belts, zero flaws. We are the gold standard of wrestling, and there is no one who comes close. They are so desperate to find someone to try to take the title from around my waist, they are sending out Barry Windham, someone who has already lost the title twice! One of the absolute lowest forms of life, a Texan! In fact, the only thing possibly lower than a Texan … is a Canadian! *the crowd boos even louder* And they are throwing two of those at me … Rick Martel and Bret Hart! Well , tomorrow night , me and my boys Terrence and Steven here will be facing all three of them in Vancouver. And when we are done throwing those three idiots back on the scrap heap, there will be no doubt about it. The Terror Collective rule all, and no one comes even close. Glamour Boy Shane vs. Toshiaki Kawada Kawada's rampage continues, with one half of the Dreamboats doing what he can to stop him. Shane put in a brave effort, but the Japanese Nightmare could not be contained, and while Chris Adams cheered him on from ringside, Dangerous K put Shane away with a Folding Power Bomb. Kawada is certainly proving to be an incredible asset for the League Of Gentlemen. Bret Hart vs. David Young With Ted Dibiase's earlier declaration in mind, it looks like he sent Young out to do as much damage as he could before Hart goes on to face the Collective tomorrow. He certainly proved his worth, hitting hard and often, and the Hitman had to dig deep to withstand it. Hart was not quite able to get on the Sharpshooter, but a jarring piledriver was able to put down Young for the One Two Three. A tough battle, but the real trial will be in the Six Man Tag tomorrow.

Pacific Coast Wrestling Show from the UCSB Event Center, Santa Barbara, 29th The Sons Of The Beach (Cannonball Grizz & The Sandman) vs. The Suicide Blondes The Sons Of The Beach have been riding high since their arrival on the west coast, and the California fans certainly took to the surfing duo as they rode that wave over the Blondes, with the Sandman defeating Spicolli with a Flying Legdrop. David Cash vs. Toshiaki Kawada Poor Cash Flow. Kawada tore into the rookie like a starving jackal before using a sheer fall brainbuster to put him down for the count. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. Chris Hamrick While showing some concern for what had happened to his Money Train comrade in the previous match, Hamrick was set on giving a good accounting of himself against the California champ. The rookie certainly proved himself, all things considered, and seemed like he might actually pull out a huge upset when he went for the Franken-Hamrick. Unfortunately, Condrey spotted it and countered with a Power Bomb to put an end to the challenge. Regardless, Hamrick certainly turned some heads with his performance in this match. Shane Douglas vs. Genichiro Tenryu Another competitor wrestling over his head was Shane Douglas. The Pittsburgh native was facing a full on Japanese legend in the form of Tenryu, and gave him an enthusiastic battle before finally being knocked out by an Enzuigiri. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bully Busick © vs. Big Vito Lograsso A Big Battle between the current and former enforcers for Jim Cornette, the Italian Stallion threw everything he had at Busick, only for the Man From Powerhouse Hill to turn it around with his Spinebuster Slam for the win. Bret Hart & Roddy Piper vs. Buddy Rose & Brian Lee The evening ended with an incredibly heated match with plentiful vicious action, particularly between Piper and Lee. Ultimately, it came down to Hart and Rose, with the Hitman hitting a top rope bulldog on the Playboy and scoring the pinfall.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the LA Sports Arena, Los Angeles, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, 28th The Force Of July (The Patriot & The Eagle) vs. Jimmy Del Ray & Billy Black The masked duo pinned Del Ray after a Flying Double Shoulder Block. Stormfront (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) vs. Sabu & Rob Zakowski Another close match between these two sides, this time with Lynn hitting a Cradle Piledriver on Zakowski to come out on top. Shinya Hashimoto vs. Scotty The Body Early in the year, it was Scotty who took the TV title from Hashimoto to end his impressive run. Since then, Scotty has lost title to Big Bully Busick while Hash finds himself reinvigorated by his joining the Peach Patrol. Peaches and Tina Ferrari gave each other the evil eye, but the action was kept mostly in the ring. Hash avoided falling for Scotty's tricks and held his shoulders to the mat after a German Suplex for the victory. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mike Awesome These two have been having some raucous matches, and Bigelow was looking to balance the books after his countout loss last week. He was able to back body drop Awesome out of the ring when the Master Of The Awesome Bomb charged him for a clothesline, then followed up with a spectacular Slingshot Splash to the outside. The Beast From The East made it back into the ring to win by countout, evening the score. Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Miracle Violence Connection © vs. Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) The long awaited match between these two teams was a chaotic brawl, with the ref struggling to get some sort of semblance of control. In the end, he threw in the towel as all four men were slugging it out in the ring, and security had to come out and force the teams to return to the locker rooms. Pacific Title Match : Ted Dibiase © vs. Barry Windham Dibiase faced his toughest test yet in the two time former Pacific champ from Sweetwater. This match went very long and looked like it might go to a time limit draw, but Dibiase was able to fight his way out of an attempted superplex and hit a top rope power driver fistdrop and maintain his grip on the title.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Olympic Auditorium , Los Angeles , on ESPN / TSN, June 27th Chris Adams vs. Mike Borassi Adams has definitely been feeling his oats since he took over the group he dubbed the League Of Gentlemen. Borassi got the worst end of this when Adams decided to make an example of him. The English Gentleman seemed to take sadistic glee in tormenting Borassi with martial arts moves and suplexes, finally putting the rookie away with a Superkick that might well have put him in the concussion ward. Make no mistake, Chris Adams is not to be trifled with. Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Chris Candido PCO scored an incredible victory last week in a six man tag where he pinned no less than the former TV champ Scotty The Body. This has put him on the radar of the Playboy Club, and Buddy Rose has sent out young Chris Candido to test the mettle of the Fighting French Canadian. The former Light Heavyweight champ definitely took it to Ouellet, but PCO overcame his considerable skill with sheer ferocity, pinning Candido following a package piledriver. A fire has clearly been lit under Ouellet, and it's only a matter of time before it grows into an inferno. The Thunder Dragons (Jushin Liger & Dragon Azul) vs. Art Barr & Eddie Guerrero Two factions that find themselves on the rise are the Peach Patrol and the Hexagon. They found themselves on the opposing sides of the ring and proceeded to put on a Light Heavyweight showcase as the LH champ and his best friend faced these Japanese stars. The match wound up going to a 15 minute time limit draw, leaving the fans a bit frustrated, but you can be certain these two teams will get another go round. Dan Severn & Steve Blackman vs. Harlem Heat Chris Adams was back out in the corner of his men Harlem Heat. Booker T and Stevie Ray have been gaining a name for themselves as a team with a lot of potential. If this intimidated the duo from the Citadel at all, they certainly didn't show it, as Severn and Blackman went toe to toe with the powerful duo. Having recently faced off with the MVC, the Citadel didn't take a single back step with the Heat, and Adams resorted to tossing the slap jack in to Stevie Ray, who used it to slug Blackman from behind. This set him up for the Bookend by Booker T, and that was enough for the pinfall. Harlem Heat had stolen the win, but that just goes to show you : never take your eyes off the League Of Gentlemen. Pacific Trios Title Match : The Midnight Express © vs. Steven Regal & The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) At the end of last year, the Dreamboats defeated the Midnights for the Golden State Tag Team Titles. This time, they were challenging for the Trios Title, and they were hoping that history might repeat. The feud with Coast 2 Coast took their game to a whole new level, and the addition of Steven Regal has made them truly a force to be reckoned with. A lapse of concentration wound up costing them, as Dreamer didn't notice that Condrey had tagged in, and the Loverboy caught him off guard with an inverted DDT to keep the titles. Regardless, the Dreamboats have come a long way in their year an a half on the West Coast.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Selland Arena, Fresno, June 22nd Bobby Eaton vs. Jason Jett Eaton was able to overcome an enthusiastic Jett when Jett ran into a Singing Neckbreaker, then Beautiful Bobby came off the top with the Alabama Jam for the win. Steven Regal vs. Makhan Singh These two brawled their way to a double DQ, with the ref struggling in vain to get some sort of control in the match. Stan Lane vs. Chris Hamrick The Money Train came steaming back with Hamrick catching Lane with the Franken-Hamrick for the win. Cannonball Grizz vs. Fit Finlay Finlay hit hard but couldn't overcome the size and power of Grizz, who crushed him with a running splash. Pacific Light Heavyweight Title Match : Art Barr © vs. Too Cold Scorpio The current and former champs had a classic Light Heavyweight duel that went to 20 minute time limit draw. California Title Match : Dennis Condrey © vs. David Cash "Cash Flow" David Cash gave it his best shot, but the canny Condrey hit an inverted DDT to maintain his grip on the title.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Cow Palace , San Francisco, on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, June 21st Dan Severn & Steve Blackman vs. The Suicide Blondes The Blondes continue to seem rattled by the actions of the Peach Patrol, and the Citadel duo capitalized, dominating their opponents with Blackman taking down Candido with the running bicycle kick. The Eagle vs. Toshiaki Kawada The newly aggressive Kawada tore into the masked man, forcing him to tap out to the Kawada Crab. Bret Hart, Roddy Piper & Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Buddy Rose, Scotty The Body & Brian Lee For a match with much of the focus on the brawling between Piper and Lee, it wound up coming down to PCO. The Fighting French Canadian survived being targeted by the Playboy Club and pinned Scotty following the Cannonball. Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) Another strong showing by Iron & Steel, with Atlas forcing Tatum to give up to a crushing Bearhug. Rick Martel vs. David Young It looks like Dibiase sent out the youngest member of the Terror Collective as a roadblock for Martel. Young hit hard and did some damage, but Martel was able to come back and pinned him with a top rope Sunset Flip. Barry Windham & The Thrillseekers vs. Ted Dibiase & The Miracle Violence Combination It looks like Dibiase has more to worry about than just Martel, as Barry Windham came after him very aggressively in this six man match. The former 2 time champ came close to pinning the Man Of Means on several occasions, but the MVC pulled their boss' fat out of the fire with Gordy taking down Jericho with a Power Bomb.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Oakland Alameda County Arena, Oakland, on ESPN / TSN, June 20th The Thunder Dragons (Jushin Liger & Dragon Azul) vs. Spencer Duhm & Joe Dowdle In her brief (and mostly covert) time in PCW, Peaches has rapidly assembled quite a powerful group of wrestlers to her Peach Patrol. The newly dubbed Thunder Dragons wasted no time at all in rolling over the rookie duo, with double pins by way of tandem ranas while dazzling the fans with their thrilling moves. This duo could challenge for either of the tag titles or the light heavyweight strap at a moment's notice. Shane Douglas & Stormfront (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) vs. Sabu, Rob Zakowski & The Lightning Kid The Hexagon made a bold statement of intent last week and have immediately moved into action. Their targets are clearly the Citadel, but Shane Douglas and his colleagues are far from pushovers, and gave the Sinister Minister's men a ferocious battle. Al Snow and Sabu were particularly focused on each other , but Lynn and Lightning Kid seemed to be sparking furiously off each other as well. Lynn had Kid set to be put out with a Sleeper Hold, but that was broken up by a vicious legsweep from Zakowski. Kid then capitalized with the Lightning Strike (Tombstone Piledriver) to get the win, but it was certainly a close one. The Sandman vs. Louie Spicolli The Peach Patrol continued to show their strength as Peaches joined her man The Sandman as he took on one half of the Suicide Blondes . While Peaches and Tina Ferrari gave each other the evil eye, Spicolli seemed intimidated by the Surfing Superstar, who easily dominated the Blonde and defeated him with a jarring piledriver. It didn't take long for the Sons Of The Beach to get into the heads of their opponents. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) vs. Harlem Heat Ever since the former Diamond Exchanged rebranded themselves the League Of Gentlemen, they have seemed much more sure of themselves. The young team of Harlem Heat have definitely found a new confidence, which they showed in this match with the former Golden State Tag Team champs. Dreamer and Shane put in a courageous effort, but the power of Booker T and Stevie Ray was too much to overcome, with Stevie taking out Shane with the Slapjack. Harlem Heat are clearly a team to keep an eye on. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mike Awesome Last week's match between these two behemoths ended in a double countout, leaving the fans wanting a more. As predicted, a rematch was immediately signed , and the two went at it with renewed intensity. They both heated up the match with bigger and bigger moves, until Awesome clotheslined Bigelow over the top rope and out of the ring. The fans were agog as Awesome, running at top speed, hit a spectacular dive through the ropes, crashing hard into the Beast From The East. It looked like it might be another double countout, but Awesome got back to his feet and just barely made it back into the ring, getting the win by countout. A victory, but it didn't seem to be satisfying to Awesome, and these two are sure to square off again.

Pacific Coast Wrestling show from McArthur Court, Eugene, June 15th 2/3 Falls Match : Stormfront (Al Snow & Jerry Lynn) vs. Rob Zakowski & The Lightning Kid 1st Fall : Lightning Kid took down Lynn with the Lightning Strike (Tombstone) 2nd Fall : Lynn got the submission on Kid with a Sleeper Hold 3rd Fall : Both teams went to a 20 minute Time Limit Draw Final Result : Draw Shinya Hashimoto vs. Billy Black Hashimoto, with Peaches watching his back, pinned Black following a Brainbuster Golden State Tag Team Title Match : The Oregon Wrecking Crew (Gary Albright & David Young) © vs. The Thrillseekers The rookie challengers gave it their best go, but a takeover suplex by Albright on Storm put an end to their challenge. Dan Severn vs. Fit Finlay A rugged battle between two rugged men, neither were able to get the tap out but Severn was able to come out on top with the bridging back suplex. Pacific Coast Wrestling show from the Portland Memorial Coliseum , Portland , on Pacific Super Cards on ESPN / TSN, June 14th The Sons Of The Beach (The Sandman & Cannonball Grizz) vs. The Suicide Blondes As promised the day before, the SoBs were full of confidence and determination going into this match, and despite Tina Ferrari trying to tip the balance into her men's favor, Peaches shut that down, clearing the way for a Peach Patrol victory by way of a Beach Break (stuff power bomb) on Spicolli. Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Makhan Singh PCO was still carrying the damage from his head first collision the day before, and was in no shape to take on Singh, who crushed him with the Karachi Crunch (Avalanche). Iron & Steel (Tony Atlas & Larry Cameron) vs. Coast 2 Coast (John Tatum & Jack Victory) Iron & Steel continued their rise, defeating the former champs when Cameron hit the Harlem Hammer (running double axe handle to the back of the head) on Victory Pacific Tag Team Title Match : The Miracle Violence Combination © vs. The Dreamboats (Tommy Dreamer & Glamour Boy Shane) Coming off their big win over Coast 2 Coast at Seattle Showdown, the Dreamboats went all out against the MVC, and seemed to catch the champs a bit off guard. Ultimately, the power and intensity of Williams and Gordy proved to be too much to overcome, but Trisa Hayes' men certainly gave a creditable effort. Barry Windham vs. Buddy Rose Despite having taken some losses lately, the Playboy was still determined to show he was a force to be reckoned with. Facing another former two time Pacific Heavyweight Champ, Rose used his considerable savvy to keep in the game with his younger opponent, luring Windham into some dirty tricks and still showing considerable vigor. Windham was able to flatten him with the Western Lariat, but Rose showed his is not to be looked past. Pacific Heavyweight Title Match : Ted Dibiase © vs. Steven Regal Dibiase has been through considerable challenges, but has still kept the Title Belt around his waist. Tonight, he would take on a young favorite of the crowd who had already held several titles and was now going for the big one. Regal certainly looked set to make the most of his chance, going toe to toe, and it seemed like tonight might be the night for a big upset. We will never know, as Makhan Singh charged out to attack Regal. Dibiase bailed while the ref called for the DQ, all while Regal and Singh duked it out in the ring. This continued until PCW security came out to separate the two. It looks like , before Regal can move on, he is still going to have to deal with the Monster.

Pacific Wrestling Showcase from the Portland Sports Arena, Portland , on ESPN / TSN, June 13th Sabu vs. Jerry Sims The wrestlers in PCW have learned to have a sense of trepidation when seeing their name opposite Sabu on the matchlist, especially after his match with Bam Bam Bigelow at Seattle Showdown. While he lost that match, the Bombay Madman showed savagery and absolute fearlessness against the Beast From The East, and that carried over into this match. Poor Sims was on the wrong side of Sabu's daredevil moves, ultimately losing to a slingshot legdrop. No doubt about it, Sabu is an opponent to be approached with extreme caution. Interview : Don Coss stands in the Crow's Nest Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guest may have only been on the West Coast for a short time as a team, but they have been the center of a lot of drama … The Sons Of The Beach! The fans cheer as Cannonball Grizz and the Sandman head out to the Crow's Nest. They are led by the mystery woman. No longer masked and robed, she reveals herself to be a blonde, blue eyed, long legged woman in a slinky black dress. She smiles as she strides out with her Kendo stick casually slung over her shoulder. She is followed by Shinya Hashimoto , Jushin Liger and Dragon Azul. Coss : Well, folks, quite the retinue. Seems like there have been a lot of changes in the Sons Of The Beach. Grizz : Ha ha, you bet, Donnie! The Playboy Club thought they had gotten the better of us, but we knew what we were doing. Who is laughing now, Rose? Sandman : What my enthusiastic pal means is that we had a plan, and nearly everything went according to that plan. You see, before we came to PCW, my boy Grizz filled me in on just what a crumb Rose was. But he also told us how dangerous and cunning he was. Yeah, I'll give the Doughboy his due. We certainly didn't, heh heh, take him lightly. We knew Grizz coming back would draw his attention, and sooner or later, we would have to deal with the Playboy Club. It was just the two of us against the six of them, and good as we are, we can't overcome those numbers. So I went to the one person I trusted more than anyone else, even more than my buddy Grizz … my girl Peaches! *the blonde woman smiles broadly* I sent Peaches in undercover and she started recruiting the team. She got this team organized by negotiating with Hash and the Thunder Dragons , and got everyone in place. Coss : Wait, you speak Japanese? Peaches : What, you don't? Coss : * muttering * Of course you speak Japanese, everybody speaks Japanese but ole Don … Sandman : We were nearly set. But then Seattle Showdown came up sooner than we were ready. We did what we could, but it's tough to fight a match when you constantly have to look over your shoulder. Tina Ferrari cost us the match, and the Suicide Blondes got the win. But we knew it was only a matter of time, and a week later, the jaws of the trap snapped shut. Peaches here put one over on them and got us a rematch , which we of course won. Not only that, we showed the full strength of the Peach Patrol, and the Playboy Club are going to think twice before they mess with us. Peaches : That's right, honey! Tina Ferrari, you had best stay out of my way, unless you want to get a taste of the stick! The Sons Of The Beach, the Thunder Dragons, and Shinya Hashimoto … I put together the toughest group of wrestlers in PCW, and the Playboy Club and the Hexagon had best keep that in mind. I've got the best tag team around, two of the greatest Light Heavyweights in the world, and someone who can take anyone out in the blink of an eye. It's not just a Beach Party, it's a Peach Party with the Peach Patrol! The fans cheer more as Peaches and the Sandman kiss in the ring. Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Mike Awesome Both men are coming off big matches at Seattle Showdown, and both are looking to move up in the rankings from there. Bigelow wants to keep his considerable momentum going, while Awesome seeks to bounce back after Steve Austin ended his unbeaten streak. The two went at it, fist and fire, with neither man wanting to give an inch to the other. The action spilled outside the ring and the two wound up both being counted out. It won't be long before a rematch is signed. Interview : Don Coss stands in the Crow's Nest Coss : Ladies and gentlemen, my next guests are coming off a rough outing at Seattle Showdown … the Hexagon! The fans boo as the Hexagon emerge. Sabu, Art Barr, Eddie Guerrero, Dean Malenko, Rob Zakowski and the Lightning Kid are stone faced, but the Sinister Minister is clearly just barely holding back white hot rage. Coss : Ummm, Minister, your men lost all of their matches at Seattle Showdown. That must … Minister : SILENCE, INFIDEL! The Pacific Coast have showed themselves unready and unworthy of the greatness of the Hexagon. That trollop who spoke earlier dared to insult us. Well, it looks like we are going have to start making examples of people. We showed earlier just what Sabu is capable of. *Sabu points to the sky* All six sides of the Hexagon are equally deadly, and anyone who doubts that will do so at their peril! Bret Hart & Pierre Carl Ouellet vs. Scotty The Body & Brian Lee If the Playboy Club were intimidated by the earlier declaration from Peaches, they weren't showing it. If anything, they were more aggressive than usual, ambushing Hart and Ouellet outside the ring. Ouellet was sent crashing head first into the ring steps, but the Hitman fought back hard against the odds. Then, rushing out of the crowd … Roddy Piper! The Hot Scot had not been seen in several weeks after being attacked by Lee, but now he was back with (literally) a vengeance. Piper started whipping Lee with his thick leather belt, and Scotty tried to intervene but Hart held him off. Things took an even wilder turn when Piper started to throttle Lee with the belt. Hart tried to get him to stop but it took considerable effort to get Piper away from the Bulldozer. While Hart dragged Piper off, Scotty helped Lee back to the locker room. Too Cold Scorpio vs. Jimmy Del Ray The fans were certainly glad to see the return of Too Cold Scorpio last week. The former Light Heavyweight champ has clearly developed in his time away from PCW, and showed off several more thrilling moves against the Gigolo, including a moonsault legdrop that was dubbed the Tumbleweed and got the pinfall. Scorpio is clearly back and on track. Pacific Television Title Match : Big Bully Busick © vs. Big Vito Lograsso So far in his title reign, Big Billy Busick has taken on all challengers, earning a reputation as a fighting champion. Tonight, he would be taking on the man who took his place as Jim Cornette's enforcer, Big Vito Lograsso. The Italian Stallion has been gaining his own reputation as one tough customer, so this wasn't a refined, technical match. This was an out and out clubberin', with all four fistises flyin'. The two bruisers threw down and threw all sense of decorum out the window. Big Vito went for broke by going for the Sicilian Smash (running forearm smash to the face), but Busick ducked it and then caught him coming off the ropes with the Spinebuster Slam for the win. A tough challenge, but the Man From Powerhouse Hill survived.
