  1. Really awesome garbage brawl that plays off better with the set up. They really cut a frantic pace and I have to give HHH props for bumping like a madman including doing the hBK corner bump. The finish was a fun way to end the feud while keeping everyone strong.
  2. Marlena's reaction when Pillman gets thrown into the steps is great. I also like Vince blaming the Harts for One Night ONly not airing in the US. Austin vs. McMahon begins and its a great piece of art in front of a MSG crowd. Austin is officially the man now.
  3. Big stip added for HIAC. Taker and Shawn again trade some good promos in my mind to hype up the match and each week seems to be adding an intensity level to feud overall.
  4. Hogan going after Flair is the biggest mistep in my mind following up Wargames as it now leads to Piper, Flair, and Sting Hogan has issues with. If they did do all three matches with each getting revenge, the person third to the punch would have been lessened. I still think a bridge title reign for Luger leading to Hogan regaining at Havoc was the way to go to lead to Sting.
  5. Very good Piper promo, probably my favorite of the year. He sets up a few things for Havoc and has some good one liners to go with them. It is really not like people are outright rejecting the Hogan/Piper cage match going in at this point even though it feels played to me.
  6. Survey time. Larry is heating up the feud with Hall but is too smart to fall for his ploys. I adored Tony getting giddy when Larry walked towards ringside.
  7. I'm inclined to say include the whole thing of that MPro 10 man Ditch recommended if possible. Will be interesting to see a M-Pro 10 man this late in the game and its a good mixture of old names and up and comers that will be very important later.
  8. Still putting over the Horseman spoof almost a month later.
  9. The reign for Wright comes to an end. Announcers did a good job of getting over how these two were battling for the belt and leaving the nonsense at the door. I hated the Jacqueline stuff.
  10. Him kicking out of the moonsault got the crowd to wake up and they did pop for his power moves. Really amazing to think about this from a time standpoint as we are only 9 months away from 40k screaming their heads off at the guy in the Georgia Dome. It feels like in modern day that Cesaro has been elevated a good bit in the past month or so but he was still a name around SummerSlam which is the equivalent of Goldberg's timeline to stardom.
  11. Nitro Girls were still fairly over despite their terrible dancing.
  12. I fucking loved this. I didn't see it as aimless but a straight fight in a confined environment that kept up the intensity level for me for all 25 minutes and actually peaked with the conclusion of the match. So many highlights and nasty spots to list but Shimoda with the bloody face being a crazed person going after Ito even with a bum arm was my favorite sequence of the entire match. This felt like a wargames match but just with a single cage and 4 competitors. The mixing of the submissions was genius and added a level of desperation to everything.
  13. One small segment saying Davey wanted to go at it on his own would have explained away all the interference nonsense. I justified my investment of the match around that anyway. I thought the match again was built really well with Shawn getting some decent pops coming out and being pelted with stuff by the end and a completely hated man. The cuts to Bulldog's family was sort of heartbreaking knowing the backstage stuff. Really good show overall.
  14. What a spectacular match. Really driving out a clear narrative for 25 minutes with constant action and ebbs and flows. The finish drops it down slightly from greatest WWF matches of all time consideration but it is a spectacular ride watching Taker target the chest and Bret target the leg. Tons of interesting spots mixed in and Taker feeling like he has taken everything he has learned in the past 6 years and added some vulnerability to put it all together.
  15. I really liked this as a third from the top super match with Owen trying to slug it to Vader and Vader taking the majority of the match but giving Owen just enough of a opening to make you believe he could pull the win off. This also rehabilitated Vader more than any recent match. The finish with the powerslam was vicious and especially good as Owen gets caught after his triumphant moment of slamming Vader.
  16. Good package showing the history between these two and how important the match is. Sunny might could have been good as Shawn's valet around this point.
  17. This was good fun. The opening stanza with dreamer and RVD was sloppy at points but effective. I wonder how good Sandman vs. Sabu was? Pretty big first time match that they may should have held off for November to Remember. Sabu and RVD do stereo dives eliminating Dreamer and they head to the back. That leaves Beulah vs. Fonzie and things really heat up. One thing about FOnzie is that he is not afraid to take an ass kicking as he bleeds a gusher here and commits himself. Felt like Sable at WM 14 with how over Beulah was.
  18. Sabu and RVD attack both men and use some good double team. The WWF stuff is beyond annoying now as it doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme of things. Sandman makes the save and Beulah gives Fonzie a kick in the notes as the show goes off the air.
  19. Fonzie needs to bring it down a notch or 12. Didn't really get into this promo very much and honestly not too excited about what is going on in ECW at the moment.
  20. I liked this. Crash's opening flash was well executed and Modest escalated on top from body control to throwing bombs. Finish was a little suspect but overall these looked like to young guys on the rise.
  21. In a year that doesn't feature the greatest match i have ever seen, this has an excellent shot of being my MOTY. For example, this would have been my 2013 MOTY. I think it is Santo's masterpiece as a match in being able to milk in wonderful wrestling and selling with his graceful highspots and overall aura. He wasn't losing the mask but damn if I wasn't fully invested in this match. I agree this is not a great match for a lucha novice and even though I am by no means an expert, the lucha I have watched in the past 3 years helped prepare me for the specialness of this match. Only Dandy/Satanico 12/90 and Chicana/MS-1 are the two contenders to this being the best lucha match I have ever seen.
  22. Mongo sells the leg when he walks but then keeps doing power moves and deadlifting Curt. The announcers have no idea how to play this off. Hennig avoids a football charge and hits the perfect plex to win the US belt clean as a sheet. Big night for him.
  23. NWO welcomes "Kurt" Hennig made me mark out. Big heat for Curt here in Charlotte and this is a good goad session for the NWO. I feel like I may be the only one but I have enjoyed the set up to this a lot. The Horseman needed to get revenge really soon though.
  24. Tony is probably my announcer of the year so far and this was his finest moment so far really putting over the shock of what happened the night before. I again haven't seen this angle be bad so far as this is setting up the Horseman goading with some Horseman revenge.

If we do turn on the likes feature, can you promise not to post pictures of your kid Loss just to drive up "likes" I am good either way but have wanted to like certain posts that I may not have a ton of commentary to add to (PETEF's year-end write ups for example)
