  1. In episode #14 of the Dangerous Alliance Wrestling Podcast, JT and Will tackle the following challenges as they dive into wrestling history: - Live Watch: JT, Will and Dan live watch Pat O'Connor vs. Buddy Rogers from June 30, 1961. The "Match of the Century" is for the NWA World Heavyweight Title and set a long standing attendance record in Comiskey Park. - What If: The boys discuss what would have happened to the wrestling world if Vince McMahon was sent to federal prison for a ten year sentence beginning in 1994. Would the WWF have survived? Would WCW still be standing today? Who benefits the most? - Six Degrees of Separation: Dan feeds Will and JT a list of names from wrestling past and present and they try to connect them to the legendary Harley Race in six or less degrees of separation. - Mailbag! - The boys read answers questions from fans of the show. So, kick back and join JT & Will in the Alliance as they travel through the history of wrestling! Dangerous Alliance Wrestling Podcast #14
  2. That sounds familiar now Chief. Figured it was something like that. 2005 Christian was a big whiff by them.
  3. In this episode of the Place to Be Podcast, Justin and Scott are joined by Marc Clair to look at Vengeance 2005! They discuss Carlito, Viscera, the absurd Kane/Lita/Edge/Hardy love square, Kurt Angle, John Cena, Triple H and much more! So fire up this action-packed episode and join Scott and Justin as it’s time for another edition of the PTB Podcast! http://placetobenation.com/place-to-be-podcast-episode-388-vengeance-2005/
  4. Funny enough Sid actually outlasted Bigelow. Bammer left in November, Sid in January. I do think Bigelow could have stayed heel a touch longer and been Diesel's first challenger. After he fails, THEN DiBiase boots him for losing to LT and Diesel. Then you can do the Sid stuff from there with their first match at KOTR, some sort of tag at IYH2 and a blowoff at SummerSlam. The Sid matches were not that great but certainly were more passable than Mabel and Sid was at least a believable threat.
  5. On Episode 47 of The Kevin Kelly Show, Kevin and JT discuss the news of the past few weeks and also look to the future with a chat at the fallout from Survivor Series, Paige's Flair Family promo, the overall state of WWE programming, comparisons between the ongoing officiating issues in the NFL and the slow decline of WWE programming, the inherent issues of the direction of NXT and more. They also discuss Creed (spoiler free) and the legacy of the Rocky series. Kevin then brings in the great Christopher Daniels for a chat. Calling in from Japan, Chris discusses the World Tag League, how he got into the business, his experiences while training, his favorites growing up, his decision to move to TNA and his experience there, his thoughts on Juice Robinson, the fact that he was able to have a successful career without a run in WWE, the secrets to his longevity, his choices for a theoretical ROH Hall of Fame and more! So please join us for another great episode of the Kevin Kelly Show! http://placetobenation.com/the-kevin-kelly-show-episode-47-christopher-daniels/

  8. I am way behind in my listening, just wrapped this one up and really enjoyed it. The bevy of Meltzer notes this time around were pretty interesting as we see the transition from Frey to Watts. Also, the insight from the Between the Sheets right before this around Paul E's departure was a good complement to this. This was the first War Games I saw as a kid and love it just as much now as I did back in 1992. In fact, it was the first time I seriously considered switching allegiances from WWF to WCW at age 11 because the build and match were so fantastic. Tremendous blowoff match across the board and certainly very highly rated on the best of the 90s list.... not sure exactly where for me as I haven't thought it out yet, but it would be high, easy *****. Really looking forward to Beach Blast.

On Episode 46 of The Kevin Kelly Show, Kevin and JT discuss the news of the past few weeks including Ring of Honor’s new TV deal, the Survivor Series WWE Title tournament, Seth Rollins’ injury, the WWE’s lack of star power heading towards WrestleMania season and more. 12. Thank you Ms. Bagwell!
  13. I definitely remember doing a wrestling themed trivia contest and game show in 1995.
  14. Gotta vet it all in these wild times, Parv. Never know what's lurking around the corner.
  15. We will be sure to cross reference any topics for a vague resemblance to games from your occasional game show. And will make sure you are informed going forward. That way we can all rest easy at night around here. Can't have such wild allegations getting us down. We are all a team after all. God speed.
  16. Too much going on man, can't remember everything.
  17. Nope. I did it first on Brad & Chad and then on the Kevin Kelly Show... Ripped it off from there (can you rip off from yourself?) ... As apparently you did too...
  18. Reunited. And it feels so good.
  19. In episode #12 of the Dangerous Alliance Wrestling Podcast, JT and Will tackle the following challenges as they dive into wrestling history: - Living the Gimmick: The boys bring back a DAWP favorite when they examine the many faces and gimmicks of Ed Leslie. The barber, the butcher, the... Man With No Face? - A Moment of Sleaze: Dan leads JT and Will through the classic DVDVR Sleaze Thread and the boys have to guess the accuracy of each entry! - We are the Champions: Dan challenges JT and Will to recall title lineages of various championships from throughout wrestling history. - Mailbag! - The boys read answers questions from fans of the show. 20. I echo bringing the fans into things. We built a very loyal and dedicated fanbase by involving them early and often, either with appearances, contests or just simply reading their feedback and making them part of the family.
