On WOR Dave seemed to be implying that wwe has changed its "policy" on listening to crowd reactions so he thinks they might change Angle v Corbin. The announcement of the match Monday was not meant as a swerve or misdirect to lead to another match. But he thinks with them listening to crowds more a good chance the match changes

It absolutely makes sense storyline wise but when you tease a mystery/surprise opponent you inevitably get people's hopes up. That's why the deflation from the crowd. If they had just announced the match straightforward people might not like it but be more accepting and less deflated

I think it should be noted that with all the injuries and people being gone, Braun has headlined a good amount of house shows since the end of last year. I do wonder if that's at least part of the reason live attendance is down with a cold character who has been hurt time and time by creative in a headlining position. Just a thought/observation here. Scott Keith is often criticized for being a relic. His opinions and takes are stuck in 1998. Times have pasted him by., etc there seems to be a trend (at least to a degree) online and on twitter of "just sit back and enjoy the show. It's just wrestling" and "it's simple storytelling not meant to be analyzed" . Yet Dave and Bryan are being critical of everything and anything like it's 2003 or something. These newer, younger and more positive fans see them as behind the times and relics. I mean I don't disagree with all their takes myself but man they seem to get slaughtered online daily. just reminded me of SK. Once seen as source material and now vilified (although varying)
