The most amazing thing about Sasha, to me, is that even when something goes wrong in her matches, it still somehow works. It's an almost Sabu quality. Early on here, there was an obvious bit of anticipation of Bianca putting her up for the atlantida position for the kiss of death, and Sasha was able to escape immediately and even though it didn't look great because of the early anticipation, you bought that it was why Sasha was so easily able to get out. Her matches are just full of bits like that.

I stand by this still, and my list above could be expanded a little. I'm not sure exactly when some of the Houston matches (Slater, Morton, Santana) dropped or when someone stitched together the hour long match with Brunzell. We have gotten at least one new Hennig match which helps round out the feud and a few other things through WWE Network Hidden Gems. It's easier to access the IWE matches now. We now have a HH with a few extra minutes of the Funk in Japan match. Etc. Whenever a new Bock match drops, I always wonder if it's going to be the match that makes me finally see the holes. And they're never there.

I liked this a little more early on when Priest was coaching him to do an elbow in the corner, though Priest then being freaked out by the Destroyer, as if he'd coached him in the back NOT to do that no matter how badly he wanted to, still sort of worked. Bunny was basically the world's best possible Dominik Mysterio?

Miz selling the punches is pretty solid, plus he's coming off as a legitimate bullying threat here for the first time since the Finlay/Hornswoggle feud in ECW.

The Martel/Zenk vs Funks match and Martel vs Lawler would be two I'd consider key too because they show different aspects of his game.

I'm not in a position to revisit footage here yet, but if Bryan has a very clear path to #1, it means more questions should be asked about his work than almost anyone. That was the case with Flair in 2016 and he still won the thing, but he won it having ran quite the gauntlet first. That's Bryan's future here. Celebrate him, yes, but poke at him from every direction. And if he comes out on top, then he'll certainly have deserved it.

To be fair, Angle never actually mat wrestled. Whoever said this felt like a house show was close. It feels like a Saudi show.

So the upside here, my old friends, is that this show has only been going for 2 hours and not 4 like when we normally get to see Shane.

Granted, in 18 months, he'll be in backstage skits dressed like a giant chicken, but it'll be ok for a while!

Omos reacting to everything that he was doing was pretty great, actually. All the stuff between moves was leaps and bounds better than the usual stuff you get out of a giant rookie and better than Khali/Gonzales ever got.

I'm finding it fairly creative heel-in-peril stuff to keep Styles from tagging. I don't think it's the sort of match that you can do more than once or twice though. @Jmare007 I'm on the same wavelength with you here at least.

It's going to be Undertaker at Survivor Series 90 level given the build of the match so far.

I'm ready to see what Omos can do already, but I love that Woods was distracting Styles by playing his TNA theme a couple of weeks ago.
