Couple of things: I just bounced back to the 4 way and that spinning powerbomb by Beth was nuts. Also, I'm glad Roman got fireworks. Remember a few years ago when Hunter had a crazy entrance and Roman just walked out?

To meet halfway, I think there was definitely something of the curse of the undersized babyface WWE main eventer in his big run and the last year has felt very different than that. I'd argue that his indy work had more 00s excess to it (though not always) and that this feels different and more grounded even still, but yeah, i think there's plenty of wiggle room between what you're saying and what I'm saying.

Rey's still hurt? That was a shame but they do need at least one heel to come out of this show looking strong.

I think he was working fairly different all the way back to the first Styles face vs face match from last year.

I gave Bryan a lot of grief when he came back a few years ago about how he didn't change his style to protect himself, since he was good enough to and still have great matches. He took his exile as a way to learn and grow and adapt and he's come back world's better than he was, which is saying so much. I had to catch up but the post-match was so electric that I didn't dare look away for a moment to post.
