.... what the hell is Cena wearing? As someone raised twenty miles south of Boston, I'm offended. The one show I saw in MSG in 03 had Tazz beat him up for being a Red Sox fan. This is a weird mid-life crisis.

Just no stakes. I almost wonder if it would have been better to do Angle/Drew and a brief, triumphant Reigns/Corbin squash.

Couple of things: I just bounced back to the 4 way and that spinning powerbomb by Beth was nuts. Also, I'm glad Roman got fireworks. Remember a few years ago when Hunter had a crazy entrance and Roman just walked out?

To meet halfway, I think there was definitely something of the curse of the undersized babyface WWE main eventer in his big run and the last year has felt very different than that. I'd argue that his indy work had more 00s excess to it (though not always) and that this feels different and more grounded even still, but yeah, i think there's plenty of wiggle room between what you're saying and what I'm saying.

I half though he was going to come down in a kilt.

Rey's still hurt? That was a shame but they do need at least one heel to come out of this show looking strong.

I think he was working fairly different all the way back to the first Styles face vs face match from last year.

I gave Bryan a lot of grief when he came back a few years ago about how he didn't change his style to protect himself, since he was good enough to and still have great matches. He took his exile as a way to learn and grow and adapt and he's come back world's better than he was, which is saying so much. I had to catch up but the post-match was so electric that I didn't dare look away for a moment to post.

Hopefully this is them going home, but it's the best I've seen tonight. Maybe the best Shane match ever because they balanced the stupid and excessive with character and because Miz is a more even match, execution issues be damned. I do sort of love that Shane's penchant to climb high objects backfired in a different way this time.

This has been enjoyable, but what the hell was the physics on that Shane bump? That's not how any of this works!

Shane vs David Arquette feels weirdly marketable.

Two years ago he chain wrestles AJ. This year he plays chickenshit vs Miz.

Whatever assuredly minimal damage fireworks cause to the environment is still too much for Miz' entrance.

I had tried to get through it a few months ago, but all of the Hungarian stuff kicked my butt and I ended up listening to a bunch of the Eric Bischoff podcast instead, certainly not bettering myself. I am now waiting for the pizza. You will all be glad to know that my check engine light has miraculously gone off. I thought I had resolved the issue a few months ago but it stayed on. Now it is off.

I stopped off to drop off the Redbox. In the car I was listening to a podcast on how the potato famine affected continental Europe. How does that compare to the match?
