Loss Posted November 10, 2011 Report Posted November 10, 2011 This thread had me thinking about Alex Wright for the first time in forever. The guy had tons of potential. Check out this amazing promo directed toward the terrible people of Norfolk, VA, who refuse to even sympathize with the guy. Heartless jerks. Quote
Loss Posted November 10, 2011 Author Report Posted November 10, 2011 That no good dork Lee Marshall tries to put one over on Alex Wright, but Germans are honest! When asked if he ever watched American Bandstand, he says, "I don't watch that kind of programming." Quote
Al Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Wright is 36 years old. He's only two years older than John Cena. It's a shame he went back to Europe after WCW closed. Relatively speaking he'd still be in his wrestling prime. Quote
Loss Posted November 11, 2011 Author Report Posted November 11, 2011 Alex Wright holds victories over some of the biggest names in the history of our great sport -- namely Steve Austin, HHH and Chris Jericho! Quote
Gregor Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 . Tokyo Magnum tries to impress Disco Inferno and Alex Wright, beginning his tutelage under the masters of dance. Two months later, Wright suggests that Magnum kill himself. Quote
NintendoLogic Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 I grew up in the 757, and Das Wunderkind hit the nail on the head. Norfolk really is a pigsty. Nobody tells Alex Wright what to do and when to do, least of all the morons in Norfolk. Quote

Two months later, Wright suggests that Magnum kill himself. Awesome post! Tokyo Magnum is really lucky that Alex Wright would sacrifice his time to help him improve his dancing skills. What an amazing, reckless display of disrespect. I don't know what he did, but I'm sure it was bad! Quote
CodySave Posted November 12, 2011 Report Posted November 12, 2011 I loved Alex Wright when I was younger, I remember Wright and Sting being my favorite WCW wrestlers at this time. When I do 3XW commentary on Mike Sydal's matches, who won the award in 2009, I always mention that Sydal won the award "also held by the likes of Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat and "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright!"
